Today, Democrats are celebrating.
More than ever, the possibility of President Trump being impeached seems possible. Yesterday’s double whammy of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and the President’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen both being found guilty (Manafort found guilty by a jury, Cohen making a plea) of various crimes isn’t exactly helping Trump’s reputation.
More so, Cohen’s plea deal came with an admission that he knowingly broke the law at the behest of his boss, Donald Trump, when he paid off two women who claimed to have had affairs with Trump. This admission, which was made in a New York City court as part of the plea, is widely understood to implicate Trump in actually flouting the law, if not directly breaking it.
However, the chances of Trump still being impeached are low. Violating campaign finance laws, which Trump could be tied to with this plea, isn’t exactly a capital offense. That’s why Alan Dershowitz, a respected Democrat and Harvard Law professor, says impeachment is unlikely. Still, President Trump is a P.R. hound, and he knows what his image looks like. He also knows when he’s bleeding, and that Democrats are hungry sharks, circling him in the open ocean. So he’s lashing out in only the way Trump can. The President broke his silence on the whole Cohen affair today in a sardonic tweet:

It’s not at all clear Cohen will even avoid jail for snitching on Trump. One thing Cohen hasn’t learned yet is that betraying Trump garners no goodwill from the media. Democrats and liberal journalists will still crucify him for his past working with Trump. Turning on the President now buys no credibility.
First off Congress literally has a tax payer funded account with which to pay off potential extortionists just as Trump is accused of doing and there can be no other purpose for this fund then to stop the influence of these types of accusations on elections. Therefore, how can Trump be guilty of something Congress not only does regularly but uses tax payer money for? Second the largest fine ever levied for campaign violations was against Obama for somewhere near 1300+ violations they admitted to (not just two like Trump is accused of) and the fine was less than $400,000. This is pocket change for Trump and is not even in the same state as the arena of high crimes required for impeachment even if Cohen; a confessed liar with no tangible evidence who’s seeking free go fund me money from liberals hoping he’ll hurt Trump, got a greatly reduced sentence for badmouthing Trump and hired a Hillary lawyer, could be believed . Yet, again this is Dems with their much-ado-about-nothing while at the same time ignoring the infinitely more severe violations of campaign and voting laws that have been committed by Dems recently.
Worse, a lawyer who violates attorney/client privilege isn’t going to be very popular with a judge, or other lawyers, and it just about invalidates any testimony he gives, because he has ALREADY shown that he will only act in his own interests. If he violates one of the cardinal rules of the legal profession, would he hesitate to lie under oath? I think not!

Since WHEN is paying off someone to be silent about a claim that something happened between them and a celebrity? He was NOT president at the time. Are all the former presidents, and movie stars, and CONGRESSMEN who have done the same thing to be removed? Ludicrous!
For the life of me I can not see how American’s can sit back and allow this witch hunt to happen especially conservatives. I understand the liberals have bought out most of the media, but to see this happen in this country is almost unbelievable. I tell you what it would look like lawlessness, corruption, deceit, mayhem, anyone and everyone scrambling across our borders. So much regulation required that almost no one but the very rich, or well connected would even think of starting a new business or expanding, and that if you could even stay in business. This would be a country that only the most depraved, corrupt individual would want to live here, or the most needy left with no where else to go. All the while greedy Democrat politician would be raking in the money. If you think I’m wrong take a look at the states controlled by Democrat’s, high crime, high debt, high unemployment, high number of homeless, high drug usage. I can count on one hand the good things a Democrat president has done for this country, but I don’t have enough fingers and toes to count the number of bad things this country has had to endure, and survive from a bad Democrat president. Trump has made so many positive changes in just a short time, not only for the betterment of this country but is citizens also. And all while the Democrat’s are venality opposing, and trying to blocking his every move. Why because they have lost their cash cow she didn’t get elected and many of these elected officials will have to work for a living they may have to serve the people that elected them or look for other employment. The later I would hope in most cases, but who is going to hire a failed corrupt politician, well maybe the fake news media.
