Kurt Russell recently made headlines for defending Americans’ gun rights in the wake of the San Bernardino terror attacks. He said:
‘If you think gun control is going to change the terrorists’ point of view, you’re…out of your mind. I think anybody [who says that] is. I think it’s absolutely insane.’
Russell recently appeared on “The View” to elaborate on his comments about gun control.

Goldberg said, “Recently, you made some headlines for saying you felt gun control laws would not deter terrorists. Explain to folks.”
“In reality, when we’re dealing with things like, terrorism, whatnot, we’re all going to have different opinions on how to do it–how to deal with it. Mine happens to be that, I think there’s a very strong reason the Founding Fathers had for the Second Amendment. And that is that no government ever hasn’t had to fight its own people, and its own people hasn’t had to fight its own government,” Russell replied.
“We had our civil war. If that Second Amendment hadn’t have been there, those people wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do what they considered defending their life, their way, their style of living. So I agree with that. I think that’s an important part of our existence. It’s basically that simple.”
Well Kurt, the left “knows” what the 2nd Amendment is for, that is why they hate it. The 2nd is a “check,” on unbridled power and corruption, as these are the things the left represents. Liberal celebrities and politicians, walk the walk, remove ALL of your armed personal security and that goes for your homes and offices too. It’s only “fair” that our lives have the same value. There is far too much security inequality in America.

Russel is exactly right factually and historically correct. The 2nd Amendment is there so the people can protect themselves from an oppressive government that would cast aside the constitution. Our Armed forces would and should stand with the people. However this government could fall if the population is so saturated with illegal’s that have no desire to assimilate. Look at the huge problems in Europe now and the fact that they are making it far worse for the future. America needs to beware the Liberal mind set is a poison in this regard.

I completely agree with him. What some and they nearly touched on it,when she expressed a moment regarding the automatic weapons. The second amendment may not have specified they types of guns. and true they could not see he future, and the kind of weapons we have now, BUT the indisputable fact is, the second amendment was meant to put we the people at the very least, on an even ground to give a level playing field, to stand up to a corrupt unconstitutional government! Which means if the government can come at us with automatic weapons, we should be able to defend ourselves with automatic weapons!!
