Hillary Clinton’s perpetual battle with the stairs continued yet again this week when New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo had to help her conquer a single step.
Clinton appeared at the state Democratic convention at Hofstra University Wednesday night to endorse Cuomo against his unexpected primary opponent, actress Cynthia Nixon. After giving a speech which she shouted about a need for leaders “who stand for progressive values,” Clinton was met by Cuomo with a bouquet of flowers. It’s a good thing he was there, too, because apparently, Clinton needed some help standing herself. (RELATED: Hillary Clinton Just Said If You Believe in the Rule of Law, Vote Democrat).
As you can see in the video below, Cuomo had a firm grasp on Clinton’s elbow as he helped her back up onto the podium.
This is far from the first time Clinton has struggled with stairs.
Back in March, Clinton slipped twice while walking down a set of stairs in Mumbai, India – despite being held up by two men. Later that same day, she slipped in a bathtub and fractured her wrist, forcing her to cancel part of her trip.
In October 2017, Clinton broke her toe in England after slipping and falling backward while running down the stairs in heels. The tumble caused her to skip several media appearances promoting her book, “What Happened.” She was seen still wearing a boot on her foot two months later.
And of course, who can forget how Clinton famously fainted at a 9/11 memorial in 2016? (RELATED: Why Was Hillary Wearing THESE Glasses When She Fainted? NOW WE KNOW!).
And here we thought Hillary Clinton was her own worst enemy; clearly, it’s stairs that are her arch-nemesis. And after seeing how she struggled with the little step on that podium, it was probably for the best that she lost to Donald Trump. Can you imagine how she would fare against, say, the steps of Air Force One? It would be an embarrassment to the whole country.
