White House Insiders Pushing for John Bolton to be National Security Advisor

President Trump is spending the weekend in Florida interviewing candidates to be his National Security Adviser.

After Flynn’s resignation and Admiral Harward turning down the offer, President Trump has narrowed down his search to three to four candidates. Disgraced General David Petreaus was taking out of the running early, but several other former generals are in the running. Interim adviser General Keith Kellogg is also actively under consideration:

But in the last day or so a non-military name has risen the ranks. It is a name familiar to conservatives and someone that is sure to make liberals furious!

Senior White House officials and members of the National Security Council are pushing former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton as a replacement for ousted national security adviser Michael Flynn,

John Bolton was seen as a possible pick for Secretary State and then Deputy Secretary of State before being considered for National Security Adviser.

Bolton is considered a “hawk” and is known for hard stances against North Korea, radical Islam, and Russia.

I am sure liberals will hate whoever Trump picks, but they’ll hate Bolton in particular. He is notorious for his abrasive style and isn’t afraid to hurt feelings or speak truth to power.
