Not only has the former IT aide of former Democrat leader Debbie Wasserman Schultz been the subject of a federal investigation, having sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to a Middle East nation and then being arrested fleeing the country, now we know he’s as guilty as they come.
That aide, Imran Awan, was indicted Thursday on four counts, including bank fraud, and making false statements. His wife Hina Alvi was also indicted.
Awan and Alvi were charged with “conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on a loan or credit application, and engaging in unlawful monetary transactions.” A grand jury returned the indictment in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
The former IT staffer worked under Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and was arrested by federal officials in July as he was attempting to flee the country amid the bank fraud scandal. Awan was picked up at Dulles International Airport by members of the FBI, U.S. Capitol Police, and Customs and Border Protection in connection to his alleged involvement in “double charging” for House IT equipment and possibly exposing private House information online.
Wasserman Schultz fired Awan after the arrest became public, and said afterward she “did the right thing” in standing by Awan for as long as she did.

No surprise that the woman who had to step down from her position as chairwoman of the DNC over ethics concerns hired a sleazebag to run IT for a bunch of Democrat offices.

Let’s hope more is uncovered about Awan’s shenanigans. I suspect he’s guilty of way more than what the grand jury has found so far.

If it were a conservative….we would already been prosecuted by the left and inprisoned for the same things they just seem to keep getting away with! Forget Schultz, she is dumb as a rock, that is why she was put there, just like Piglosi! But this guy can bring down some really heavy people with what he knows, including Obama!
