Trump Fires Back Hard When Ben Carson Challenged The Donald’s Faith

Carson-Bush

Donald Trump is dominating the news cycle. This makes him a target to be challenged by other candidates. Ben Carson recently took  a jab at Trump. Carson’s interview and Trump’s reply are worth watching as they highlight big differences between the two front-runners in the Republican presidential primary.

Carson was asked to highlight a difference between himself and Donald Trump. He responded in a low key tone by taking a swipe at the sincerity of Trump’s faith.

“The biggest thing is that I realize where my success has come from, and I don’t any way deny my faith in God. And I think that probably is a big difference between us.”

Given that it was the only difference Dr. Carson acknowledged, he was then pressed by a reporter to further explain and was asked if he thought Trump was being sincere about his faith. Carson replied that he does doubt the real estate mogul’s claims regarding his faith.

“I haven’t heard it, I haven’t seen it. You know, one of my favorite, Proverbs 22:4, it says: ‘By humility and the fear of the Lord, are riches and honor and life.’ And that’s a very big part of who I am. Humility, and fear of the Lord. I don’t get that impression with him. Maybe I’m wrong.”

Not being one to sit on his hands when he is challenged even in the slightest manner, Donald Trump fired back at Carson in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo. Trump claimed that Carson wasn’t a well-respected doctor, but rather just an “OK doctor.”

Trump, who has stated that he would consider appointing a Supreme Court Justice who supports partial birth abortions, then attacked the genuineness of Dr. Carson’s pro-life credentials in this must watch interview.
