A horrific home invasion had a happy ending when a grandfather was able to step in and save his teenage granddaughter from an attempted gang rape. The man was able to shoot back at the armed intruders, killing one and sending the other two to the hospital for emergency surgery, according to a local news report:
The incident started around 10 pm at a house on Yedda Road in Lumberton [North Carolina] on Monday night when someone knocked on the home of the grandfather, his wife and their 19-year-old granddaughter, according to the sheriff’s office.
Two of three men – all wearing black clothes, ski masks and gloves – stormed into the house and demanded money, officials said.
The grandfather and his wife ended up in the back of the house and were directed at gunpoint to open a safe. The three men were all armed and tried to rape the teen girl, officials said.
The 67-year-old grandfather managed to grab a gun and shot all three of the suspects. The suspects fired back and the grandfather was hit several times, deputies said.
After that, all three wounded suspects fled in the grandfather’s gold Cadillac.
Later, the sheriff’s office was contacted when 2 men with gunshot wounds showed up at McLeod Hospital in Dillon.
Deputies received information that took them to Singletary Church Road near Lumberton where they found Jamie Lee Faison, age 20, dead inside the stolen Cadillac. He died from gunshot wounds, deputies said.
Unfortunately, the grandfather isn’t out of the woods yet – a relative reported on Facebook that he is in the ICU. Pray for a swift recovery for this everyday hero who was just trying to protect his family from violent thugs.

Do these criminals get their black uniforms and motivation from Eric Prince´s Blackwater reprobates, who have bought up choice properties in the mountains and on the coast of N.C. with their mercenary dollars? How do these young criminals get their hands on SWAT uniforms? Has the Obama-muslim entourage established issue locations around the U.S., such as the local office of the DEA ?
The genuine Grandpas of N.C. – and perhaps all US states – are wise to place their fire arms in handy locations, in order to appropriately greet such criminals as they enter the doorway.
May God place his hands on this gentleman and heal him so he can be with his wife and Granddaughter. Now that is said, I wonder when the riots are going to begin. Because grandpa Killed one choir boy and shot two other choir boys while they were going door to door selling bibles.. (Tongue in cheek.) When is JJ and old Al and Holder going to town?????
I hope and pray for this good man. I am also a grandfather and would do what ever it took to protect my Grandchildren.

If the liberals would focus more on the cause of such evil in our society instead of trying to remove tools that people like this Granddad can use for self defense, maybe some of these crimes would be prevented. For a crime like these (deadly gang assault), those evildoers should never see the light of day again. Fix the system to deter criminals!!
My prayers are with this hero. He saved his grand daughter by placing himself in harms way. When love comes 1st, your Children and like this man, grand daughter came 1st. Pray everyone. I’d like to see him on a podium receiving a badge for heroism!
