Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden outrageously predicted that President Donald Trump will postpone the November presidential election in the hopes of securing a win for himself.
“Mark my words, I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can’t be held,” Biden said during an online fundraiser yesterday, according to Yahoo News. The 77-year-old former vice president added that it is “the only way he thinks he can possibly win.”
Of course, Biden offered no evidence to back up this prediction, since President Trump has in reality given no indication that he plans to postpone the election. Trump is far too focused on saving our country from the coronavirus pandemic to even give serious thought to the election right now, so it’s ridiculous that Biden is already proclaiming that the election will be postponed.
Biden went on to claim that there will be interference in the presidential election by Russia and two unnamed “major actors,” according to The Guardian.
“I promise you the Russians did interfere in our [2016] election and I guarantee you they are doing it again with two other major actors,” Biden said. “You can be assured between [Trump] and the Russians there is going to be an attempt to interfere.”
At this point, Biden is just throwing out any conspiracy that he can, hoping that something will stick. Deep down, he knows that he is a subpar candidate who can’t really compete against Trump one-on-one, so the only chance he has of beating him is to convince enough people to buy into his bizarre conspiracies. It’s really quite pathetic!
As for President Trump, he’s on to what Biden is doing, and he’s already firing back. During Thursday’s press briefing, Trump took the time to slam Biden and send a brutal message to him. “We have a sleepy guy in a basement of a house that the press is giving a free pass to, who doesn’t want to do debates because of COVID,” Trump said.
Biden can bash Trump all he wants, but the president is not afraid of him. It will be so much fun to watch him beat Biden in November!
