Just two months after promising that he would no longer make political art, comedic actor Jim Carrey has relapsed and created yet another anti-Donald Trump cartoon after the end of his press tour for the movie “Sonic the Hedgehog.”

Carrey released a new anti-Trump cartoon on Thursday, writing alongside it, “Trump is willing to risk countless lives to save his economic record. He has fully become the mayor from Jaws.” The cartoon seems to reference Trump’s eagerness to get Americans back to work and jump-start the economy in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

While promoting his new children’s movie, Carrey was singing a very different tune, saying he was done creating political art because it was a “waste” of his time and because he had done “enough” in saying what he needed to say. He also implied that all of the negativity had been bad for his mental health.

“I basically didn’t bring that into 2020 with me. That’s gone — pretty much, for the most part,” he told Indierwire. “I’ve said what I need to say, and I’ve allowed it to inhabit my body and cause whatever low vibrations do to a body. You know, I sounded my yelp, I warned people, and that’s enough. They know how I feel.”

“So I’ll vote in November, and that’s that. If the wheels come off the wagon completely, then I’ll meet them in the street,” he continued. “But I’m not going to waste another moment of my time with a narcissist, President… what’s his name again?”

That clearly didn’t last long! It seems that Carrey is so infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome that he couldn’t even go two months without obsessively trashing Trump with his art once again. As the president himself would say, SAD!
