Is She Getting Ready To Switch Parties? Tulsi Gabbard Will Give Headline Speech At CPAC

According to the Conservative Political Action Committee’s website, former Democratic Congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard will headline a speech at the group’s annual national conference this week.

Since leaving Congress, Gabbard has pilloried the Democrat Party, and frequently argued hot topics from, if not a conservative point of view, an anti-leftist one.

CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp shared the news via his Twitter account.

Gabbard Has Been Outspoken On Opposing A New U.S. War Over Ukraine

Gabbard has been critical of the Biden administration for being divisive and also “elite” members of the Democratic and Republican parties since leaving Congress just over a year ago.

On Sunday, Gabbard took Biden to task over potentially getting the U.S. involved militarily in Ukraine.

“What are we trying to achieve in Ukraine? How will it benefit the American people? And at what cost?” Gabbard tweeted. “The Biden Admin has never answered these questions. Inflation and cost of living will drastically increase, Russia will retaliate, and no one knows where it will all end.”

Earlier in February, Gabbard warned that the “neocons/warmongers” were gunning for a new “cold war” over Ukraine.

“The neocons/warmongers have spent years stoking the new cold war with Russia and have now brought us to the brink in Ukraine—this serves their own interests, and lines the pocket of the Military Industrial Complex with trillion$,” Gabbard wrote on Twitter.

“Let’s not be sheep,” she added.

Gabbard Has Defended Kyle Rittenhouse And Criticized Biden’s ‘Identity Politics’

Gabbard has also defended Kyle Rittenhouse. The Democrat says that the charges brought against him were motivated by politics and “should be considered criminal.”

The former congresswoman has also slammed Biden’s vow to choose a black woman as the next Supreme Court Justice as divisive identity politics.

“Biden chose Harris as his VP because of the color of her skin and sex—not qualification. She’s been a disaster,” Gabbard wrote. “Now he promises to choose Supreme Court nominee on the same criteria.”

“Identity politics is destroying our country,” she added.
