House Democrats on Tuesday morning announced two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, with a focus on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
The House Judiciary Committee is slated to vote on these articles later in the week.
That would set up a full House vote next week, as numerous media outlets are reporting.
Notably absent from the planned charges was a “bribery” count, as Fox News and other outlets pointed out.
In a statement about the Dems’ news on Tuesday morning, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel gave this reply, as shared with LifeZette by email: “First Democrats promised ‘collusion,’ but there was none. After ‘quid pro quo’ failed, their focus groups told them to try ‘bribery,’ but there was none.”
“Nancy Pelosi can invent whatever false charges she wants, but the American people see this for what it is: yet another partisan attempt to overthrow a duly elected president and rob voters of the chance to re-elect him in 2020.”
In a news conference this morning declaring the articles of impeachment, Democrats declared that the president put his personal political interests ahead of the country’s national security by pressuring the country of Ukraine to investigate his political rivals.
In that comment, they’re referencing the July 25 phone call that the president had with Ukraine president Volodymr Zelenksy — but Trump never mentioned an American election on that call, nor was there any quid pro quo regarding military aid.
Zelensky himself has said repeatedly he felt no pressure at all from that phone call.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Monday “convened the House chairmen leading the impeachment inquiry in her office,” Politico reported.
That meeting followed the Judiciary Committee hearing held on Monday that was televised to the nation.
President Trump will be holding a rally with supporters and others on Tuesday night in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Charge Pelosi, Nadler and Schiff at the outset for for betraying the nation, a no confidence vote against them for removal from Congress. Charge with treason, the attempted overthrow of a duly elected President and the United States. Pursue all ties Pelosi and family,AdamSchiff, Kerry, Romney, Biden and anyone else with regard to Burisma, the Ukraine and any money that has crossed hands, pursuant to selling their office and or political clout for personal/family gain. Pelosi thought she was the Queen and Shifty Schiff thought he was the King and they are used to having politicians kiss their rings. Then the majority of the people in each state decided in 2016 that these elites along with the Clintons and Obamas aren’t special at all, and elected someone who genuinely cares and wants to work for the betterment of our citizens and country, Donald Trump. The so called Dem elites didn’t and don’t like someone outside of their inner circle doing things that they don’t benefit from and shows the world that they don’t have the power to keep things status quo. Trump exposes them for the lying crooks they are. The so called Dem elites decide he has to go because they don’t have any competent candidates to beat him in 2020 and so they will try to damage him with a bogus impeachment. The one thing that the so called elites didn’t count on is we have more smart people who vote and don’t believe their lies. We like results that we can benefit from and not the elites.

From this point forward there will never be another president without impeachment hung over his/her head from day one thanks to the reckless democRATS….I think this would be a great election for a few independent candidates to jump in the mix and they probably could beat the rats at their own game which would mean the END of the RATS dominance and hopefully the end of the party……..EMPHATIC PERIOD……

The Senate should deny these articles because they are not impeachable.
For Trump to ask the Ukraine to investigate a possible (likely) crime by a Us official (VP-Biden) is his duty. Biden is guilty of abuse of power, violating the public trust, and possibly a quid pro quo to protect his son’s lucrative payola position with Burisma, an oil & gas company, for which he had/has no expertise in. As for obstruction of Congress that too is a fake charge since the President has every right to claim Executive Privilege under the separation of powers. What Trump has and needs to continue doing is obstruct the political hacks running the Democrat Party who have placed partisan politics over the good of the nation. Watch closely as these Democrats rush impeachment to the Senate where it will fail and they will claim its the Republicans protecting their own. The Democrat snakes have no honor, no statesmanship, and no case against Trump. Americans in every Democrat controlled city & district & state need to vote these vile creatures out of office in 2020 so Trump can continue keeping his promises and Make America Greater Again.
