Barbra Streisand Says ‘20,000 People Dead’ Because Of Trump Response To Coronavirus

On Easter Sunday, iconic actress and singer Barbra Streisand plugged her song “Don’t Lie to Me” from her 2018 album “Walls,” by using it to bash Donald Trump, saying the President is directly responsible for the more than 20,000 deaths in the United States due to coronavirus.

‘He’s unfit to lead this nation’

Streisand said Trump is “unfit” to lead the country.

“Now, with more than 20,000 people dead because of his incompetence and lies, he’s proven that the can’t handle the truth,” Streisand tweeted. “He’s unfit to lead this nation… especially in a time of crisis.”

Her song she referenced, “Walls,” was little more than an anti-Trump rant that speculated the President is incapable of being truthful.

This is nothing new for Streisand. The Oscar and Grammy-winner has gone after President Trump on social media time and again.

Last year, Streisand tweeted a violent photo portraying a bloodied Trump being impaled by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s shoe heel.

Streisand Has Attacked Trump Time and Time Again

Before that, “Babs” tweeted that President Trump should be removed from office for being a “climate denier.”

“Last week it was 114 in Paris and Guadalajara was buried in 3 feet of ice from a hailstorm,” Streisand tweeted in July 2019. “Climate change is here now and it is time for voters to remove the climate deniers from office. Starting with Trump.”

‘I wholeheartedly endorse Joe Biden for President’

The singer recently expressed that she was supporting presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, declaring that she “wholeheartedly” endorses his campaign.

“I wholeheartedly endorse Joe Biden for President. Trump must be beaten in November before he does more damage to our democracy, environment, for our health and safety and standing in the world,” she tweeted in March.
