Actor Robert De Niro lashed out at Donald Trump, calling it his First Amendment right to “do something about” the “scumbag” President and his supporters.
The Academy Award-winner launched his latest angry tirade at the ‘Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner’ in Washington D.C. Friday night, an event alleged to be a comedic alternative to the media gala of a similar name.
As per usual with Hollywood elites, what they view as comedy is just a group of B-list entertainers and washed up actors expressing their anger over a President who doesn’t play to their crowd.
Enter De Niro.
The actor expressed his support of the First Amendment which somehow includes his desire to take personal pot shots at the President and those who voted for him.
“I’m happy to stand with Samantha Bee tonight to support the First Amendment,” De Niro announced. “The right of the president to be a relentless and unrepentant, lying scumbag, the right of his supporters to not give a s***, and our right to do something about it.”

De Niro then moved on to state he was a big fan of the phrase ‘fake news,’ claiming the President stole the phrase from him “like a b****” and suggesting every time he uses it it’s actually to denounce the truth.
“If I get a bad review, fake news. Some nosy reporter finds out I never finished high school, fake news. Then the president stole my phrase. You might say he moved in on it like a bitch. All that, fake news. Turns out it’s real news or as we in this room call it: news,” the actor assessed.

There was more so-called ‘comedy’ from host Samantha Bee regarding President Trump as well.
Bee laughably thanked reporters “for holding the president and all of us accountable” and mocked Trump for not attending the WHCD.
“I really believe that the current president should have to face someone once a year who calls him on his s***,” Bee said. “You’re the most powerful person in the world, and you can’t listen to a comedian roast you for five minutes?”
She then ran down a list of people she considers to be more courageous than the President – including illegal immigrants and Christine Blasey Ford who, at the encouragement of Democrats fabricated sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
De Niro Has Lost His Mind
It’s clear De Niro is controlled by blind hatred of the President, though one could argue this rant wasn’t nearly as bad as his others.
This past June he was censored at the Tony Awards for shouting “F*** Trump!” with raised arms and clenched fists as he soaked up the applause and ovation that followed.
