The Washington Post Changes SOTU Headline After Twitter Complaints

The critics don’t lie: President Trump’s State of the Union speech was an unabashed success. Poll after poll shows Americans agreeing that it was a good speech, with few expressing disapproval.

This is great news, as Republicans head into the new legislative year and try to pass good, America first legislation.

Not everyone was happy with Trump’s speech, however. Democrats spent a majority of the time during Trump’s address sitting on their hands, refusing to stand and clap for basic things such as a lowest black unemployment rate on record. Racist, much?

Whiny liberals on Twitter were, of course, crying about Trump’s rhetoric, saying, in effect, that he’s too divisive and bigoted to be taken seriously. Just look what this chump from Variety had the gall to write:

While Americans are enjoying a big tax cut, some no-name scribbler from a gossip rag things Trump is a dictator. Imagine that.

Actually, you don’t have to imagine that, because that idiotic thought has infected one too many liberal minds. Just take a look at The Washington Post cover from this morning’s edition. Late last night, the D.C. daily previewed its front page for this morning. The original headline, “A Call for Bipartisanship,” was panned so hard over Twitter that the editors had to make a last-minute change.

If you don’t know, getting “ratio’d” on Twitter means a severe browbeating, as thousands of lowlifes scream their heads off about whatever you wrote.

So WaPo acquiesced to popular demand because a bunch of crybabies thought a headline make Trump look too good.

Liberals are a sad, pathetic bunch.
