Following a meltdown over a reporter’s question as to whether or not she hates President Trump, a video has emerged of Nancy Pelosi making the very same accusation against Republicans during the impeachment of Bill Clinton.
A clip of Pelosi’s outburst went viral yesterday after a reporter used ‘hate’ to relay a question about Rep. Doug Collins claiming Democrats were trying to “impeach a duly-elected president simply because they don’t like him.”
The House Speaker referenced her Catholic faith in a wild defense of her actions, telling the reporter, “I resent your using the word ‘hate’ in a sentence that addresses me. I don’t hate anyone. I pray for the president all the time. So don’t mess with me when it comes to words like that.”
Pelosi’s hypocrisy has been revealed in a resurfaced video from Clinton’s impeachment.

Hypocrisy, Thy Name is Nancy
Pelosi was singing a drastically different tune as she engaged in House debate of articles of impeachment for former President Clinton.
“Today the Republican majority is not judging the president with fairness, but impeaching him with a vengeance,” she argued in a clip from December 18th, 1998.
“We are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton, and until the Republicans free themselves of that hatred our country will suffer.”
The hypocrisy is rich.
Of course, while Democrats are tangibly harnessing anger and hatred in their quest to get rid of Donald Trump, Republicans were actually using legal arguments after Clinton provably committed perjury and obstruction of justice.

Pelosi isn’t the only Democrat who has been caught in complete reversal mode since 1998.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler has been a driving force behind the Democrat push to impeach President Trump, but in 1998 claimed the process is essentially an “undoing of a national election” designed to tell American voters that their choice for President “must be set aside.”
“The effect of impeachment is to overturn the popular will of the voters,” Nadler said at the time. “We must not overturn an election and remove a President from office.”

While Nadler, Pelosi, and the Democrats now claim impeachment is a serious matter, addressed with humility and defined as a somber event, they didn’t think that way in 1998.
Democrats cheered Clinton on the very same day he was impeached.
“When he [Clinton] finished he walked slowly up the Democratic side of the aisle, Democrats applauding him and hugging him as he moved along,” the New York Times reported then. “The Republicans remained fixed in their seats.”
Where was the humility?
GOP Voters remember to switch to Demorat party just for the Primary. Do what we did to Sen Specter we voted him out in the Primary. Yeah. Right now we have more “reapers” than workers in the government. Because of my ex wife i know what a job it can be to keep track of workers, especially department heads when it comes to conflict of Interest. She worked for a state agency in California and I don’t know about now but at one time they did care about conflict of interest. IT was a agency with offices all over the state and having to keep track of it all from HQ was a big job so imagine what it is like to keep track at the federal level.

You’re right – Democrats almost never turn on their own, but Republicans, being captives of their conscience, often do. To defeat Democrats, it’s necessary to adopt their gutter rules (codified by Saul Alinsky), but then who will be left to champion the things you and I believe in? It’s a vicious trap, and the left controls the majority of weapons – the MSM, academia, Hollywood glitterati. Only the Internet and Fox News provides a voice for conservatives. Given such unbalanced odds, I think it’s amazing that conservatives still have any voice in the public square. We cannot surrender. Sure hope and pray you are right and that we get good honest people that can help address our countries needs and work with the President to accomplish things and be able to discuss and negotiate with him. A house divided cannot stand and we need people in Congress that will work together no matter who they are. So often our young people today do not appreciate what they are receiving but think they deserve it and it is a given. Time to be thankful.

Yes, and I know Federal government workers were to disclose each year what they own as far as stock, any work that may be done that could be a conflict, etc. How did Biden justify that this was not a conflict of interest? She can probably be censured by the House for going against the Presidents foreign policy and stance on the climate coalition but that is no reason to put her in handcuffs and walk her off to jail, although I would love to see that and hope Trump goes after the whole bunch of them. Try to remember that Clinton was impeached for 9 real felony crimes, not for his escapades with young girls in the WH. Trump has not been proven to have committed any crime at all. Democrats in the House have done everything they could to bring down the President. In other words, they are trying to make their own wrong right and it isn’t working. Trump will be re-elected in 2020 and the RATs will end up with losing the House majority and will lose even more seats in the Senate.

So sad that he did wrong. This for me was a sad time when I was younger seeing what the Democrats did the Nixon! That was a destructive act by them that they have repeated over and over themselves. Nixon was man enough to step down. Chuck Colson became a “born again” Christian and while in prison started a much needed prison ministry. The Democrats saw them as bad but God used this event for the good of our country through men like Chuck Colson. So when our elected leaders (all of them) start walking the walk they were chosen to walk with clean hearts and minds we will be betray by all these leaders.
