Trump Turns On Kayleigh McEnany – Brands Her A ‘RINO’ After She Criticizes His NH Speech

Trump Kayleigh McEnany

Donald Trump has turned on his former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, branding her a “RINO” after she criticized his New Hampshire victory speech.

Trump Rips Nicki Haley

After coming out victorious in The New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, Trump used much of his speech to attack his rival Nikki Haley, slamming her as an “imposter” and adding, “I don’t get too angry, I get even.”

“We beat her so badly,” Trump said of Haley, according to Daily Mail. “Ron [DeSantis] beat her also. He came in second and he left. She came in third and she’s still hanging around.”

“In life you can’t let people get away with bulls***,” he added. “You just can’t do that. When I watched her, the fancy dress, it probably wasn’t so I said, what is she doing? We won.”

McEnany’s Advice To Trump – He Fires Back

This didn’t sit well with McEnany, who gave Trump some advice while offering commentary on Fox News.

“President Trump, I would go home tonight, I’d go to my victory party, I would celebrate, I’ve made history yet again. But then I’d go home and I’d look under the hood,” she said.

“And when you look under the hood of our Fox News voter analysis data, you find that 32 per cent of Republicans say, ‘We won’t vote for Trump,'” she continued. “So I go home, if I’m Trump, I celebrate. And then I say, ‘I’ve got to unite this party. I’ve got to win independents.’ That’s how I beat Biden.”

Trump, however, was not having any of it.

“I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox,” he fired back on social media.

“Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ‘Birdbrain,’ and she (McEnany) is telling me what I can do better,” he added. “Save your advice for Nikki!”

McEnany Says Trump Is The ‘Presumptive Nominee’

Trump said this despite McEnany acknowledging that he is the “presumptive nominee.”

“I would suggest that adopting a general election tone is what you do at this point, and here’s why I say this,” she said. “This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden. When you look at our voter analysis, only 10 percent said, ‘I would not vote for Joe Biden if he’s the nominee.’ He won a plurality of voters who said he was too old, he won a majority of voters who were upset about the Gaza War.”

“When you look at the Republican Party, seven in 10 Nikki Haley voters said, ‘I would not vote for Trump.’ There was a Des Moines Register poll, 43 percent said, ‘No, I wouldn’t vote for Trump,'” McEnany added. “If I’m Trump, I sit back and I exclusively focus on the general election. I take the posture of a presumptive nominee. I focus on, number one, uniting the party, and number two, winning the independents, which Nikki Haley won 55-39 percent. That’s what I would do.”

McEnany was Trump’s final press secretary during his time in office, and after spending so much time with the former president, she should not have been surprised that he felt the need to hit back at her if he took what she was saying as a slight.
