Trump Is Skipping The Last GOP Debate, But What He’s Doing Instead Will Help Change Lives!

Fox News has been TRUMPED! I never thought we would see the air bags deflated on the Fox network.

Regardless of what you think of the Trump/Megyn Kelly thing, skipping the debate has no downside for the GOP frontrunner. People who tune in already know his stance on the issues. Others left in the ring will just knock one another out… and talk about Donald!

He gets all the talking head coverage, good or bad, meanwhile he will get all the spotlight on him for the charity event on a different network. All the voters will be talking about him. If Fox comes around and cans Megyn, he will have won that piece too. Brilliant.

He’s chosen to do something different and unorthodox, and holding an event to highlight America’s Wounded Warriors at the same time of the debates will show you just how far the political landscape has changed.

From Bloomberg:

Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said that the campaign is moving ahead with plans to host a rally in Iowa for the non-profit group Wounded Warriors during the debate, which is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

“He will not be participating in the Fox News debate on Thursday night,” Lewandowski said. Lewandowski’s comments came just minutes after Trump told reporters during a press conference just before a rally in Marshalltown, Iowa, that he “probably won’t bother” participating in the debate.

I learned this official statement from FOX was the one that set Trump over the edge:

Trump told reporters that instead the campaign will “raise some money for the ‘Wounded Warriors.'” “We’ll raise money for the vets,” Trump said. “I was all set to do the debate. I came here to do the debate. When they sent out the wise guy press releases a little while ago, done by some PR person, along with Roger Ailes, I said: ‘Bye, bye.’”

Watch the video report here:

This guy is a marketing genius. He will be all over the news leading up to the debate, and his numbers will continue to rise because he is “standing up” to the media. He is right when he says that their ratings will drop if he’s not there. Fox loses, and Trump wins. That’s the art of the deal.
