On Saturday night, Donald Trump and Kid Rock were ringside at the Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena to cheer on Colby Covington, a proud supporter of the former president, as he battled it out in UFC 296, which he unfortunately ended up losing.

Trump Attends UFC Fight

The New York Post reported that the crowd roared as Trump entered the arena with Kid Rock and his old friend Dana White, who is the head of the UFC. Covington was set to take on the British fighter Leon Edwards, and he had said ahead of the fight that Trump would put the belt on him if he won.

Unfortunately for Covington, this never ended up happening, as Edwards defeated him in five rounds by the judges’ unanimous decision 49-46, 49-46, 49-46. After the loss, Covington draped himself in the American flag as he gave a “shout out” to Trump.

“You can delay us but you can’t deny us,” Covington exclaimed. “He’s going to make America great again. We need these borders secure, we need inflation down and we need America first again. Donald Trump is the only one that’s going to do that again — Trump 2024!”

Trump smiled broadly as Covington disagreed with the judges’ ruling on the fight, comparing it to Trump’s 2020 loss in what he described as a “rigged election.”

Earlier in the week, Covington described himself as Trump’s “biggest fan.”

“I’m his biggest fan, he’s my biggest role model. What better way for him to put the belt around me?” Covington said before the fight, according to Fox News. “Who better than the most famous person on planet Earth, Donald Trump, to give me the belt?”

Kid Rock’s Friendship With Trump

As for Kid Rock, he and Trump have become close friends as of late, and they enjoy doing everything from attending UFC fights to playing golf together. While appearing on The Tucker Carlson Encounter last week, Kid Rock gushed over Trump.

“Toughest son of a b**ch on the earth. He’s doing great, it’s incredible,” Kid Rock said of the former president. “I love spending time with him and getting to know him.”

“Since he became president, the first few months having dinner at the White House with him, and from there on, we’ve just hit it off,” he continued. “I can relate to him in a lot of ways as someone who might speak out of turn a lot bit and and say what’s on my mind. If you look at his track record and who he is as a whole, there’s a lot more good there than anything.”

Kid Rock Praises Trump As ‘Greatest President’

Kid Rock went on to say that Trump has not been phased by all the leftwing attempts to take him down.

“When we’re golfing or hanging out in different scenarios, his spirits are always up and he’s always talking about his country,” he explained. “He’s always talking about this country and how he wants to win. I’ve never seen anybody who wants to win for this country like that guy and I don’t think we’ll ever seen anything like that in our lifetime. He’s the greatest president we’ve had.”

With everything that Trump has been hit with as of late, we’re glad to see that he got to have some fun with his friends at the UFC fight on Saturday night. We applaud both Kid Rock and Covington for continuing to stand by Trump, even in the face of pressure from the cancel culture mob to turn on the former president!
