Conservative hero Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) just blasted Susan Rice and former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Fox News. Host Bill Hemmer asked Gowdy what he thought about Rice refusing to testify about the illegal unmasking of Trump campaign officials during the Russia hacking investigation.
Gowdy reminded Hemmer that there’s other ways to “invite” her:
“There are other ways to invite people other than via a letter. There are things called subpoenas. You shouldn’t have to use them with a former national security advisor, but if you do, you do.”
Gowdy noted that Rice is a “very important” witness because she is a former National Security Advisor who likely used her position to help Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Hemmer also asked if he thought FBI Director James Comey was right to indicate he was re-opening Hillary Clinton’s email investigation before Election Day. Gowdy dismissed Hillary’s lame excuse that Comey cost her the election:
“I don’t think [Comey] told Secretary Clinton to have her own server. I don’t think he told her to give disingenuous answers to questions throughout the campaign. I don’t think he told Anthony Weiner to communicate via text with underage girls.”

Now that Comey is gone, the FBI should really get down to the job of: Convicting Hillary, probably prosecuting Susan Rice (do not forget her lies about Bengazhi, along with Hillary’s lies, along with Obama’s lies). When will Gowdy investigate Russian agents working in the White House?
People keep talking about the “illegal” unmasking of Russian agents in the White House. What is illegal about exposing Russian spies? Since when is it the President’s job to hide Russian agents working in America?
After years of investigating Benghazi, Gowdy could spend more than five minutes investigating the American casualties in the botched Yemen raid.
Wish we had more people in Congress like Trey Gowdy! He is not afraid to speak up and say the what needs to be said. Yes, subpoena Rice and any other person they need to hear from. I know she will probably just take the 5th repeatedly, but at least the public will see her in all her cowardly glory. Thank You Mr. Gowdy, I think you would make a great FBI director, heaven knows we need Comey out of there, but you know best where your skills are needed!
It’s a shame Trey Gowdy isn’t the head of the Department of Justice or the US Attorney General & maybe then many of these criminal politicians would finally be held accountable for their crimes!! Trey Gowdy & Jason Chaffetz may be the only two out of all the politicians that can be trusted & have any kind of moral code.
