Rare Facts You Didn’t Know About Thanksgiving – I Am Sure Of It!

Thanksgiving gives us a lot of memories, and sometimes we learn things we never knew. For example, when was the first Thanksgiving?

Here’s an example of one of my Thanksgiving memories. We had only lived in our house a couple of months. The natural gas company didn’t have our correct mailing address, just our physical address. The gas bills hadn’t been reaching us and therefore hadn’t been paid, but the shut off warning didn’t reach us until the day before Thanksgiving. Fortunately, we were able to straighten things out and avert a crisis, as we were to cook and host for at least a dozen relatives the next day!

But one thing we used to do as a tradition was try to think of new things and bring them to the dinner table so we could impress everyone. I found a list of Thanksgiving facts ‘You probably didn’t know,’ and I wanted to share it for your turkey day.

From All-Parenting.com:

I know this is a lot, but it’s the season of giving and some of these I am sure your families never heard of. I hope you and your family have a terrific Thanksgiving Day!
