President Biden, in the first few months of his White House stint, complained about Vice President Kamala Harris and described her as a “work in progress.”
This is according to excerpts from a book titled The Fight of His Life, obtained by Politico.
“In the first months of his presidency, Joe Biden vented his frustration” about Harris, “telling a friend that she was ‘a work in progress,'” the outlet writes.
The book is touted as pulling “back the curtain on the internal power struggles and back-room compromises” and providing an inside scoop on what the President “really thinks of [Harris], the press, and living in the White House.”

Another revelation from the book, if you can call it that, is that Biden was put off by complaints from Kamala Harris’s husband, Douglas Emhoff.
Emhoff griped about her role in the administration as those close to her felt the tasks being assigned were hurting her politically.
“Biden was annoyed,” the book’s author writes.
“He hadn’t asked Harris to do anything he hadn’t done as vice president — and she’d begged him for the voting rights assignment,” it continued.
Harris was dubbed Biden’s immigration czar and led the administration’s push for federal voting rights legislation. She failed on both fronts, leading to a border crisis of historic proportions and hitting a “brick wall” on election reform due to the filibuster.
Reports of dysfunction between Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris began cropping up over a year ago when CNN reported that the President’s team was trying to distance themselves from her.
The network revealed at the time that the Biden administration was frustrated by Harris’ appalling poll numbers and disturbed by her “awkward” laugh when discussing serious matters.
“Biden’s team was annoyed that Harris fumbled answers about the border, including when she gave an awkward, laughing response about not visiting it during a spring interview with NBC’s Lester Holt,” they wrote.
The Political Insider reported that Biden allegedly snapped at Kamala Harris in such a harsh tone during a meeting with Republican lawmakers that it left people in the room “taken aback.”
Harris had supposedly felt the $1 trillion in infrastructure spending being negotiated at the time was a bit weak and voiced her displeasure.
Harris “began to make the case for a larger package than the one Republicans seemed to have in mind.”
“Biden dismissed her comment immediately” though, in a tone so harsh “that even the Republican senators were taken aback.”
Harris has been an utter disaster since entering the White House, including traveling to the wrong border, making propaganda videos with child actors, and temporarily sporting a fake French accent.
She currently has a favorability rating of 39%, with 53% holding an unfavorable opinion of her.

Biden characterizes Harris as a work in progress. If she ran for President, and because she is black, the fake news media would portray her as the most intelligent woman ever, even more, brilliant than Hillary Clinton. It is apparent that she can’t handle either position. But because she belongs to the victim classes of Black and female, she is assumed to be able to excel at either one. If she were lesbian, no one would be allowed to criticize her at all. Obama proved that you didn’t have to be capable of doing the Commander and Chief job. You just had to be a good liar, socially radical, and popular. Joe Biden proved that you just had to a Democrat.
Americans have to be the stupidest people on earth. How 39% can approve of Harris and +50% vote for Fetterman is insane.
I am not Misogynistic or "Ableist" she is a moron and he is a basket case, yet they are making decisions affecting billions of dollars and millions of people.
Of course I would never suggest that the polls are lying or the votes are "fixed".
The question becomes, why did Biden choose this woman for VP?
She was chosen because of her victim class. She is Black, she is female, and she is a Black female to be VP. It had nothing to do with whether or not she could do the job.
A "work in progress"??? What "progress" has she ever made?????
"A work in progress" to most people means the person so described is actually doing something substantial, something of note toward progress. What has laughing-girl ever done but feed from the public trough? She's been a pathetic joke in the V-P job from the git-go. From her actions and inactions the only "work in progress" she's proven is that she has been beyond her level of incompetency from day one in the office.
