The former Fox News host Megyn Kelly eviscerated Joy Reid after the MSNBC host slammed a co-founder of Moms For Liberty for calling for a book that features graphic sex to be banned from schools.
Kelly Rips ‘Idiot’ Reid
Daily Mail reported that Kelly branded Reid as an “idiot” for the way she handled an interview with Moms For Liberty Co-Founder Tiffany Justice on Friday.
“I don’t want to know about Joy Reid’s weird sexual predilections or what she thinks is okay content for minors, but it’s not the same as what I think,” Kelly said. “And if she wants to expose her kid to that stuff, she can go right ahead and do it on her own time and her own dime.”
Not stopping there, Kelly went on to blast Reid for asking Justice her “expertise” in questioning the memoir “All Boys Aren’t Blue,” which has been banned by 29 school districts across the country. Written by George M. Johnson, this “memoir-manifesto” includes a section about the sexual abuse he suffered as a child. It also includes graphic depictions of sex that feature lube, dildos and anal penetration.
“What is the expertise that you have and other Moms for Liberty advocates have to decide that a book, an award-winning book… isn’t appropriate for students read,” Reid asked Justice, who fired back by saying, “In what context is a strap-on dildo acceptable for public school, I mean that’s my question to you.”
Reid, of course, refused to answer this question.

Kelly Doubles Down
Kelly, however, was not having any of it.
“What’s your expertise to make the point that a book about strap-on dildos or pedophilia or anal rape by a family member doesn’t belong in K-12 libraries and schools?” Kelly asked.
Kelly then pointed out that there are plenty of studies that show why books such as this one are harmful to children.
“There are tons and tons of academic expert articles and books about the damage done to children by being exposed to content like that too soon,” she said. “And most good parents are pretty vigilant about making sure our children don’t have access to that kind of thing.”
“We put blocks on their phones if they have phones…all the things and the last thing you want to think is when you send them to school, that’s when they’re most dangerous,” Kelly added. “That’s when they’re most exposed to stories about anal rape and strap-on dildos.”

‘Absurd To Pretend It’s A Ban’
Kelly concluded by saying that books like “All Boys Aren’t Blue” should not be put in schools “on my taxpayer money when my kid might be sitting right next to her kid reading a nice book about love, about bullies, about history. It’s absurd to pretend it’s a ban, because you can’t get it in your school library!”

It’s easy to see why so many Americans see Reid as one of the most partisan hacks on television at the moment. It’s also disturbing to see just how badly radical leftists like Reid want children to be exposed to sexually explicit books in their schools.
We applaud Kelly for having the guts to call Reid out, and we believe her criticism was spot on. What do you think about what she had to say? Let us know in the comments section.
