Last month, we reported that the legendary professional wrestler Hulk Hogan had surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and been baptized. Now, Hogan is thanking God after he saved a teenager from an overturned vehicle.

Hogan Saves Teen From Overturned Car

“The crazy part about the teenager that flipped her car was that without a knife to puncture the airbags to get her out, [an] Indian Rocks Christian ballpoint pen came in really handy to pot the bags, thank you God, all is well even now, Amen,” Hogan, 70, wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

TMZ reported that this came after Hogan stopped to help a 17 year-old girl who had become trapped under a vehicle on the highway. Hogan’s wife Sky Daily, 45, took to social media to explain what happened, writing, “Last night, after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us!”

“I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girls airbag, and getting her quickly out of the car,” she added. “By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!”

Hogan’s rep Linda Bose later confirmed the story to USA Today.

“It’s typical for Hulk, he has a big heart,” she said. “He helps and treats people with the highest respect.”

Hogan Surrenders His Life To Jesus

This came one month after Hogan surrendered his life to Jesus.

“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!” he wrote on X alongside footage of himself and Daily being baptized at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida,

Hogan revealed in April of last year that though he’s technically been a Christian for much of his life, God is now his main priority.

“I accepted Christ as my savior at 14yrs old, and the training, prayers and vitamins kept me in the game,” he explained at the time. “but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!”

Hogan’s Previous Comments About His Faith

In a 2013 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Hogan said that after everything he’s been through in life, he “realized all that stuff – the peace, love, the joy, that still, small voice, the energy, that God presence – is part of who I’m meant to be.”

“As long as I made the right choice and followed my faith more than what people were saying, more than what the newspapers or tabloids were saying, and didn’t get sucked into that. None of that stuff is real,” Hogan explained. “The only thing that is really real is the stuff that’s going to last forever.”

“Your faith and your belief in God and knowing that once you’re a Christian, you’ve accepted Christ as your savior, you’re not gonna perish but have everlasting life,” he continued. “That belief in itself and that faith is what’s pretty much the only thing that’s real to me.”

In stopping to save a teenager in need, Hogan showed that he is both a true hero and a good Christian man. We’re so glad that he’s surrendered his life to God, and we wish him many years of happiness in faith to come!
