White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is breaking her silence after recent leaks of comments made during an internal White House staff meeting last week. Conway is ready to fire everyone involved.
“I had several discussions with the president on this very topic today,” Conway opined during a recent interview. And she fully expects immediate personnel changes.
Conway’s warning came hours after Trump also condemned White House leakers as “traitors and cowards.” He has vowed to discover the source of the problem.
This situation started after it was reported that communications staffer Kelly Sadler made a mean joke about Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and his fatal brain cancer diagnosis. Sadler said during an internal staff meeting that McCain’s views about Trump’s CIA director nominee Gina Haspel “doesn’t matter” because “he’s dying anyway.”
Deputy press secretary Raj Shan said the issue was handled “internally” and didn’t share additional details. But it’s clear the White House has a serious leaking problem, where staffers with vendettas are using leaks to “shiv each other.” This sort of harsh political infighting makes it harder to promote and defend President Trump’s conservative agenda.

Now, “men in suits” are supposedly using large technical devices to track down unauthorized cellphones and expose the leakers. They will be found and immediately terminated:
The men roam throughout halls and rooms to sweep for items such as personal phones, which they detect using a handheld device, inside sources told CNN. If something is detected, they’ll ask if anyone forgot to put away their phone, giving them a chance to come forward.
That’s taken as an extra precautionary step on top of ordering staffers to stash away all personal devices in their cars or in lockers by the entrances to the West Wing, the outlet reported.
While inside the building, they’re prohibited to use the devices throughout the entirety of the workday. Aides told CNN that’s resulted in crowds of officials gathering around the lockers to check the loads of messages that have piled up on their phones while they’ve been gone.

knew on one show who they were or was guessing...why are they still there? All of them are
among the smartest people around and they can't plan a ploy to catch them? Come on....
Every Obama holdover should resign. Wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Any one who is caught leaking information should be terminated immediately and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. That is what a traitor is.
Remember when Trump promised that he would hire "the best"?
These leakers are the people he hired.
Here are the Steps; 1) Determine who is/are leaking WH Information, 2) Strip them of Any & All Security Clearances, 3) Charge them with the appropriate Crime(s), 4) Arrest them and put them in Prison! Next!
'Leak" are very complicated but they violate federal law, which applies to anyone who “knowingly and willfully communicates, furnishes, transmits, or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, or publishes, or uses in any manner prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States'
So, irregardless of the intent, if the leak falls into the description above you may very well have leaker's committing criminal acts, punishable by law.
ON THE ONE HAND, McCain has some strong opinions about torture because he was tortured as a prisoner. His arms were pulled out of his sockets. McCain could never put his hands up in surrender because he has not been able to lift them above his head. ON THE OTHER HAND, Muhammadans have been robbers, rapists, blackmailers , torturers, and murderers of unarmed men, women, and children. They justify that because Muhammad did it. BOTTOM LINE: We do not want to become the enemy by imitating the enemy. We save some lives with the intelligence from torture, but it generates as much or more violence with its martyrdom. Spies out of uniform are convicted of a war crime are given a summary execution in the field under the Geneva Convention. Let's stick with the law.
Maybe take a page out of the Clinton playbook - when leakers are found they simply disappear or commit suicide. It has worked for the Clintons people are scared to death to tell the truth about them.
I completely miss the point of white house employees needed to check text messages and personal messages moment by moment. At 65, I well recall working for the department of treasury, the department of defense, the red cross and a few other employers and at no time did i bring my cell phone, or tablets or blackberry to work or carry it around like a second brain.
land lines had secretary's, answering machines and operators. If it was so important it demanded my immediate attention, I would be told as appropriate.
far to many self important people forget what they do, their actual worth, and their positions. factually, the US president is the only person within our federal government who needs real time updates. The Associate Assistant Chief of legume production in the Department of Agriculture has no such need.
This information age has constricted, denied the time spent and dissipated the attention given to focus on the job. If a husband, wife or child needs to speak to you immediately, you have not set up your resources correctly. this entire brouhaha is simply a tempest in a tea pot. No one 'needs' to be that informed, so much so it can not wait 4-8 hours. barring a MVA and emergency hospitalization or the EQ, nothing can be that important.
When people act like children who have not been taught honesty, integrity they have to be cheated like children and monitored carefully.
Names of every leaker should be made public and then FIRED immediately. This crap has got to stop!
