In a phone interview, Juanita Broaddrick said that she thought Tara Reade, who accused Joe Biden of sexual assault, “has so much credibility.”
Broaddrick: “So Many Details That Christine Blasey Ford Would Never Dream Of Having”
Speaking to TheHill.TV, Broaddrick first described Reade as “a very, very intelligent, credible woman.” The presenters asked Broaddrick what it was about Reade that made her believe her.
“It’s that she had so many details, so many details, that Christine Blasey Ford would never dream of having,” she replied. “And the tone of her voice… I’ve talked with many women who have gone through what she has gone through and what I have gone through. There’s just a vibration that you feel and you know when someone has really suffered this.”
Broaddrick added that with her experiences, “you just develop a sense of when someone is telling the truth.”
She was then asked whether there were any similarities between Reade’s case and her own.
“It’s similar, but it’s absolutely different also,” Broaddrick replied:
Tara is much more brave than I am… When Bill Clinton first started running for president, I was too afraid to come forward even back then… It’s so different because there wasn’t a #MeToo. But it’s much the same, too, because here you had President Bill Clinton that was doing so much for the feminists and they did not want to go against him because they had so many bills in the process of being passed for women. And now you have the very same thing going on with Biden: he’s getting the support from the feminist groups just like Clinton did… It’s just like Clinton; Biden is running for president. They hate Trump. They’ll do anything.
Broaddrick said she thought it was “horrible” how Reade had been treated by the #MeToo movement. Last week, one of the most prominent founders of #MeToo, Tarana Burke, said that despite the accusations against Biden, she was still going to be endorsing him for President.
The former Vice President could be “accountable and electable” by “at minimum, [acknowledging] that his demonstrated learning curve around boundaries with women, at the very least, left him open to the plausibility of these claims,” Burke argued – which, in practical terms, lets him off the hook completely.

The Left Defends Rapists Until They’re No Longer Needed!
When asked how people should cast their vote in November, Broaddrick argued that both President Trump and Biden “should be vetted to find if these [accusations against them] are credible. Tara has been interviewed and vetted and has so much credibility.” She added that she dislikes when “politics are brought into [the discussion],” noting that it “shouldn’t matter” about the politics of the accused, but the validity of the accusation.
I couldn’t agree more. This is what the left doesn’t seem to get! Conservatives weren’t critical of Blasey Ford’s accusations against Justice Kavanaugh because he was “our guy,” but because the evidence was simply not apparent.
I have no doubt that if there were serious, credible, accusations against him, then conservatives wouldn’t want him sitting on the Supreme Court benches just as much as the Democrats didn’t back in 2018. Yet whenever somebody important to the left is accused, they are defended to the hilt.
The only time the survivor of sexual assault by a leftist gets any justice is when the accuser is no longer politically useful.
