Founder Of #MeToo Movement Says Biden Can Be ‘Accountable And Electable’

Biden #MeToo

One of the founders of the #MeToo movement has said that Joe Biden can be both “accountable and electable,” despite the accusations against him.

Burke: “I Don’t Really Have Easy Answers”

Tarana Burke, one of the most prominent activists who founded the #MeToo movement back in 2018, spoke on social media that despite the accusations by Tara Reade against Joe Biden, she was still going to be endorsing him for President.

“The inconvenient truth is that this story is impacting us differently because it hits at the heart of one of the most important elections of our lifetime. And I hate to disappoint you but I don’t really have easy answers,” Burke said.

Burke argued that there are “no perfect survivors,” seemingly dismissing the claims put forward by Reade, a scrutiny of the alleged victim we have not seen before from the #MeToo movement.

“Tara Reade has been afforded the opportunity to speak her truth through mainstream media reporting on her claims and ongoing investigative journalism,” Burke argued, even though most mainstream news sources have dismissed her allegations.

The #MeToo Movement Is A Joke!

She proceeded to offer Biden a way out from the allegations, claiming that he could “demonstrate what it looks like to be both accountable and electable.”

And what does that mean, you ask?

“At minimum, [Biden should acknowledge] that his demonstrated learning curve around boundaries with women, at the very least, left him open to the plausibility of these claims,” Burke continued.

So he doesn’t even have to apologize to Reade specifically, but just say that he regrets being creepy around women! What a joke.

This is a huge “have your cake and eat it too” moment from the #MeToo activists. When the accusations came out against now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings from Christine Blasey Ford, that were nowhere near as credible as those put forward by Reade, everyone in the #MeToo movement was clamoring for Kavanaugh’s blood.

But now, when the single viable opponent against President Donald Trump is being accused, they start to waver and ask for people to be reasonable. Now you can see the hypocrisy within the movement. It was never about protecting women, but about pushing an agenda. Do not forget this the next time they start speaking up.
