Rules are rules and if this White House wants to enforce its guidelines, then the Administration needs to take action after this breach of decorum.
CNN reporter Jim Acosta is under the impression if he continues to yell at President Trump and Press Secretary Sean Spicer, he’s going to be recognized and given the respect he feels that he has earned. But that’s not the way it goes.
Spicer set down rules for off-camera briefings and one of those is no cameras are allowed to be used by the media. Pretending to be cute, Acosta decided to take a photo with his phone and tweet it during a no-cameras briefing.

CNN is already in trouble with the breaking news of one of their producers admitting the Russia narrative was bull**** during an undercover investigation by Project Veritas, and now Acosta purposely broke the WH rules.
CNN also had three journalists “resign” yesterday over a botched Russian article designed to go after President Trump.

Acosta’s pushing inspired other reporters, including American Urban Radio Network’s April Ryan, a CNN contributor, to jump in.
‘It’s a legitimate question,’ Ryan said. ‘It’s a legit question,’ Acosta parroted. ‘You are a taxpayer funded spokesman for the United states government. Can you at least give us an explanation as to why the cameras are off?’
Spicer ignored the unrest and called on One America News Network’s Trey Yingst only to be confronted about the elephant in the room – the off-camera briefing that was taking place.
Yingst asked Spicer to clear the air so they could move on and explain why the White House was being so secretive.
‘Can we get this out of the way? Can we address the cameras issue?’ Yingst asked.
Spicer shot back: ‘Yes, some days it will happen, some days it won’t. The president’s going to speak today in the Rose Garden, I want the president’s voice to carry the day. So, look, this is nothing inconsistent with what we’ve said since day one.’
Here’s how I think the White House should respond: Spicer should announce a press conference will be on camera. When everyone takes their seats, he should call on Acosta and inform him that CNN’s press credentials have been revoked until an investigation is conducted into the lies they published. And CNN must issue a formal apology to President Trump, his Administration, and all the people they have lied about.
Then Acosta should be escorted out of the room and tossed out of the White House on his behind.
When the roar dies down, Spicer should then call on Washington Post and New York Times and ask if they want to be next.
Enough of this “gotcha” media. If the press wants to report on the truth, then they should. But if they want to hurt someone in the process, we don’t have room for you at this level. CNN is at the bottom of the trust pool these days and IÂ don’t see them ever getting it back in the near future.

Perhaps someone should read our Constitution. First Amendment, Article 1.

I appreciate that Trump and company have no use for the Constitution beyond the Second Amendment right to shoot at tyrannical members of the government.

Don’t t.v. stations have their licenses up for renewal periodically? I think the FCC should pull their station off the air! Back in the “old days” I would run to turn on CNN to learn the latest breaking news. No more. What a joke CNN (Clinton News Network) has become. But, the tide has turned. It is time for the Press to realize that Rules apply to them as well as anyone else, I agree that CNN’s Jim Acosta should have his press credentials revoked and any Reporter assigned by CNN must serve a probationary period. that should hold true for ALL Whitehouse reporters!
If you are unable to report the facts then your access should be restricted accordingly!
This does not mean they cannot be critical but the critisism must e based upon truth not lies and unnamed sources.

CNN needs to be totally banned from any press briefing. People need to rise up, & stop watching CNN, stop buying any products from the sponsors, & hit them where it hurts~in their wallets. As long as we keep watching, we’re helping them to spread their lies, & filth. I don’t have cable anymore, & the news media is one reason I don’t want it back. Target is seeing what happens when large numbers of their customers boycott them, & it’s time we started making the media see it too.

Acosta is getting his three minutes of fame by trampling on a privilege that he wrongly thinks is his right. CNN should be penalized by revoking Acosta’s WH Press Pass and make CNN get someone else. Time to demonstrate that WashPost, NYT, and others could be next. Acosta blatantly shouted and interrupted Mr. Spicer; Acosta was way out of line. Then blatantly took out a camera against protocol.
Sounds like a good solution. If they want to behave worse then primary grade children, then they should expect to have “time outs” etc. appropriate for the actions. Just like junior high kids know they must conform to the school rules or not be able to participate on the athletic teams.
CNN used to be at the top of their game, but only because Democrats were in power…now, they should lose their license…total garbage reporting…
There was a time long long ago when I remember news was just reported and not propagandized but now CNN should be classed as a major part of communism U.S.A. The leftist/communists are working and gaing more power because of foolish people in the news.
