Dem Speaker Says Trump Taking Hydroxychloroquine “Not A Good Idea”

On Monday, President Donald Trump announced that he was taking the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine  as a preventative measure against the coronavirus.

“The frontline workers, many, many of them are taking it. I happen to be taking it, I happen to be taking it. I’m taking it, Hydroxychloroquine. A few weeks ago I started taking it. I think it’s good, I’ve heard a lot of good stories,” President Trump told reporters at press conference. “I’m not going to get hurt by it. It’s been around for 40 years for malaria, for lupus, for other things. I take it, a lot of frontline workers take it, doctors take it.”

This drove the mainstream left absolutely hysterical for some reason, with many of them claiming that the President served to profit off the drug (a disproved conspiracy theory), that the drug was dangerous, or even that he was lying about it all in the first place.

Speaker Pelosi decided to get in on the action when speaking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

“As far as the president is concerned, he’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group — morbidly obese they say,” Pelosi said, adding that it probably was “not a good idea.”

Woods Fights Back!

Conservative actor James Woods decided to fire back on Twitter, arguing that if President Trump was “morbidly obese,” then Speaker Pelosi was “morbidly corrupt.”

Woods’s barb against Pelosi isn’t the first time that the actor has hit the headlines recently. Woods has been a prominent critic of Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, using the hashtag #KillerCuomo to express his frustrations with the policy of returning elderly, recovering coronavirus patients to New York care homes, which led to hundreds more deaths.

“#KillerCuomo ruthlessly seeded vulnerable nursing homes with virus-ridden COVID19 carriers,” Woods tweeted. “He undoubtedly would have catapulted plague-ridden corpses over castle walls during the Black Death and done so without moral compunction. The elderly skew heavily Republican, of course.”

All I can add to this is simply, keep it up Mr Woods!
