Ivanka Trump Raises $4 Million For Her Dad’s Campaign In Her First Virtual Fundraiser

Donald Trump’s reelection campaign just got a huge boost from his daughter Ivanka, who managed to raise $4 million for her father’s campaign in a virtual fundraiser on Wednesday.

A source with knowledge of the fundraiser told Daily Mail that Ivanka appeared virtually on the Zoom call with Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. President Trump himself even made a surprise appearance on the call, much to the joy of his supporters.

The money raised in the fundraiser went directly to the Trump Victory fund, a joint fundraising committee that raises money for Trump’s campaign and the RNC as well as roughly two dozen state parties. The source added that Ivanka is the second highest requested fundraiser by donors, next to the president himself.

Ivanka’s $4 million figure is particularly impressive given the fact that it more than doubles the $1.7 million that Elizabeth Warren raised for Biden last Friday in a fundraiser of her own.

This comes after the joint Trump/GOP fundraising committee announced that it managed to raise $165 million in July, bringing the total amount raised by the joint effort to over $1 billion.

“The enthusiasm behind President Trump’s re-election continues to grow as July’s massive fundraising totals prove,” Bill Stepien, Trump 2020 campaign manager, said in a statement after the announcement.

Wednesday’s fundraiser was the beginning of Ivanka returning to the fundraising fold for her father’s campaign. Later in August, Ivanka is scheduled to travel to Wyoming for a high-dollar fundraiser with prominent GOP businessman Foster Friess. There, she will be joined by her husband Jared Kushner, as well as her brother Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Ivanka proved to be an essential campaign surrogate for her father during the 2016 election, and she also made appearances for various other Republican candidates during the 2016 midterm race. She has maintained her popularity among Republicans during her father’s presidency, serving as one of his most trusted senior advisors in the White House.
