Team Hillary Breaks Silence on Colin Kaepernick… This is SHAMEFUL!

Colin Kaepernick

While a majority of Americans view the Colin Kaepernick national anthem flap as a stunt from a spoiled multi-millionaire football player trying to avoid being cut, one prominent member of the Clinton ticket thinks it’s fantastic.

Kaepernick refused to stand for our nation’s song because blacks are allegedly being oppressed in this country and police officers are “getting away with murder” by indiscriminately killing blacks, and is now sporting socks at practice which depict police officers as pigs.

But hey, that’s just swell according to Hillary’s running mate, Tim Kaine, who when asked about Kaepernick’s protests said, “you got to respect people’s ability to act according to their conscience.”

Via the Free Beacon:

Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine (D., Va.) said Thursday that “you’ve got to respect” San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit down during the national anthem as a sign of protest of America’s treatment of minorities, adding he would do it differently if it were him.

At Thursday night’s game against the San Diego Chargers, which will feature a Salute to the Military event, Kaepernick is expected to sit again during the national anthem. Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos asked Kaine about it during the latter’s run of media appearances Thursday morning.

“You’re the father of a Marine. What’s your reaction to Colin Kaepernick?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“You know, you’ve got to respect people’s ability to act according to their conscience,” Kaine said. “I mean, I’d do it differently. I think if you really thought about issues and this country, you’d do it differently, and when I heard him explain his rationale, didn’t really make that much sense to me. But you’ve got to respect people’s ability to act according to their conscience, so I wouldn’t presume to tell him what to do.”

Um, no. Just … no.

You can accept what Kaepernick is doing because he has that right as a citizen of a country which grants everyone a right to free speech.

But you damn sure don’t need to respect it.

If Kaine feels so much respect for an anti-American jerk like Kaepernick, does he also respect him when he says that Hillary belongs in jail?

“We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate,” Kaepernick said. “That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison.”

Now that’s an opinion everyone can respect.
