Colin Kaepernick is a back-up Quarterback from the San Francisco 49ers. He is paid millions of dollars to sit on the bench and throw a ball only if the other guy gets hurt. You would think that would humble him a bit. But when our country’s national anthem played, Kaepernick decided to grandstand and make it about himself and the radical “Black Lives Matter” agenda.

Via ABC News:

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the national anthem during a preseason game Friday out of protest against America’s treatment of “black people and people of color.”

Kaepernick told NFL media he made his own decision to protest the playing of the anthem during the game against the Green Bay Packers, saying he felt an obligation to stand with “people that are oppressed.”

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he said. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Ironically it is freedom as an American that allows him to NOT to stand for the national anthem.

What a hypocrite. He shows respect for the fans and the country that have made him a millionaire by calling them racist? This man has benefited more from America than most, but he has the guts to sit there (not even stand) and say his country “oppresses people”? Riddle me this, Mr. Quarterback; if our country oppresses people HOW are you, a black man, able to make millions of dollars playing A GAME?

This probably has more to do with him riding the bench them his actual feelings about America.

What an idiot. Why can’t he be more like fellow NFL star and man of color, Benjamin Watson?
