House Speaker Nancy Pelosi became the latest prominent female Democrat to dismiss allegations of sexual assault against Joe Biden as a “closed issue.”
“Well, it is for me,” Pelosi (D-CA) responded when asked by MSNBC’s Ari Melber whether the matter was open and shut.
“I have said I am proud to support Joe Biden for president,” she added. “I believe him when he says it didn’t happen. But I also believed him when he said, ‘Let them look into the records.’ And that’s what they should do.”
Man, the resistance party has come a long way since repeatedly insisting that all women need to be believed.

Pelosi then proceeded to show she was quite serious that the matter is a “closed issue,” declaring she would no longer answer questions on the topic.
“But I’m not going to answer this question again,” she told Melber. “I will just say, I have every confidence that Joe Biden will be a great president of the United States.”
Two things:
- Reade’s accusations have been infinitely more corroborated than anything Democrats dredged up against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, yet Pelosi is willing to turn a blind eye because she hates President Trump.
- She’s pushing the notion that Biden has been transparent by asking for a release of documents, knowing full-well that Senate Secretary Julie Adams has already issued a statement saying that “the Secretary has no discretion to disclose” the information.

Her Too
Remember when Democrats were supposedly champions of women? Warriors in the ‘War on Women’? When they were so supportive of women that they dragged Mitt Romney over the coals for his ‘binders full of women’?
No more. Pelosi is just another in a long line of female Democrats to actually line up behind the accused man without so much as an investigation into the matter.
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) dismissed the accusations of sexual assault against Biden, saying his strong denial was “credible and convincing.”
Imaginary governor of Georgia Stacey Abrams has attacked Reade as a liar, falsely claiming the New York Times said her allegations were not credible.
Perhaps the most stunning aspect of this is the fact that Reade is one of their own – a former staffer for Biden, a supporter who once viewed him as a “champion of women’s rights.”
