Even the Washington Post Says Hillary Lied About Losing Due to Voter Suppression

The Washington Post fact-checker gave Hillary Clinton four ‘Pinocchios’ based on a claim she recently made about losing the vote in Wisconsin due to voter suppression.

The former Secretary of State made the curious accusation while speaking at the annual ‘Bloody Sunday’ commemorative service in Selma, Alabama this past weekend.

“I was the first person who ran for president without the protection of the Voting Rights Act, and I will tell you, it makes a really big difference,” Clinton told those in attendance.

The 2016 Democrat nominee then falsely claimed she lost in Wisconsin due to its voter ID law, which went into effect in 2015 following the Supreme Court’s decision not to block it.

“It made a difference in Wisconsin, where the best studies that have been done said somewhere between 40- and 80,000 people were turned away from the polls because of the color of their skin, because of their age, because of whatever excuse could be made up to stop a fellow American citizen from voting,” Clinton alleged.

Four Pinocchios

Even the Washington Post couldn’t let this tall tale slide, rating Hillary’s comments with four solid Pinocchios. In other words, it was a very big lie, even by her already low standards.

“Clinton made several factual errors, offered questionable claims about a couple of studies, and ended up giving a misleading assessment of her loss,” the Post writes. “Wrong on multiple levels, seriously misleading and worth a cumulative Four Pinocchios.”

Honestly, that last sentence could apply to any statements made by a person with the last name of Clinton.

What made the Washington Post of all outlets speak out?

Perhaps it’s because she’s made the claim before with very little pushback in the media and they suddenly felt compelled to say something.

She accused former governor Scott Walker of being “one of the leaders in voter suppression, making it difficult” during a conference in 2017.

“I would have won had I not been subjected to the unprecedented attacks by [then-FBI Director James] Comey and the Russians, aided and abetted by the suppression of the vote, particularly in Wisconsin,” Clinton added in another interview.

Why She Really Lost Wisconsin

The reality is Clinton lost Wisconsin in 2016 because she didn’t commit to getting out the vote in the first place. Presidential candidate and nemesis to Clinton in 2016, Bernie Sanders, recently pointed out this fact.

Sanders, upon recalling Hillary’s flawed campaign against President Trump, noted that the former First Lady failed to campaign enough in key swing states such as Michigan and Wisconsin, and “didn’t reach out to working-class people.”

A report shortly after her stunning defeat claimed her campaign urged Clinton to visit urban areas to run up the popular vote, ignoring the much needed electoral vote in key swing states.

Even years after the fact, Clinton just can’t stop lying about why she lost to Donald Trump.

  • is that old bag still mouthing off. will someone please throw water on that witch, so that it melts away into obscurity? damn, you would think that just because she is a clinton, like the obamas, it has a right to continue to exist. put this thing out of it's misery.

  • Eldon said: "Maybe it is time to march on Washington D.C. This might be a better idea: Instead of spending all of that money to go to Washington D. C. we could have a better "march" of people gathering in their cities and towns across the country, carrying flags and signs. If we picked one day in spring where anyone who is unhappy with the way our government is not working for us would simply make a sign and or carry a flag in protest Pick a time of the day to do it and spend one hour (or could be more) with your sign or flag and stand along streets, roads, or people could gather together in one place. Whatever would work for you city or town. Let's get creative in our individual towns and cities, but do it all in one day in order to make our voices heard across the entire nation.

  • Might be just an opinion of one guy - but I'd think the only thing suppressed about the Clinton campaign is the truth about her and her group. From BenGazi to the Comey and the servers to the Library and Foundation funneling LOTS of money.. to the Uranium deal... the only thing suppressed would be the MAJORITY of people in this country who have been silently wondering if it were time to march on Washington DC or volunteer to patrol our southern border.. I think many have been suppressing the urge for several years now to get physically active just like the left does but has STIFLED that urge in the name of safety and peace, whilst the OTHER side continues to riot and pillage and set up fake attacks, while they hope we will continue to ignore the major problems like the Invasion USA occurring at our southern border...

It's a good thing for all that we still have enough discipline and grace to suppress our desire regarding the direction of this country into just VOTING... even when we know people like her will try to lie steal cheat and obfuscate we still only vote and hope to save this country... when we reallmighrt be more effective defending ourselves against her and her illk in person...

  • she didn't get off her ass and Rally like our President did. The Democrats set it up so Hillary would win when she didn't Hillary went to melt down. All her lies and deception didn't work out as she and her friend had planned

  • After two years.... and she's still lying..This woman is very sick, and in desperate need of a very good Phsyciatrist for shock treatment !!!
