Donald Trump Jr. Roasts CNN Over 2 Fake Stories

Donald Trump Jr CNN fake stories

CNN thought that they caught Donald Trump Jr. in their cross-hairs. On July 27th, the “very fake news” publication published a story claiming that President Donald Trump had advance knowledge of the infamous Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr.and a Russian lawyer. They cited “sources with knowledge” of the issue (how specific!) in claiming that Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen was willing to testify to Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel.

CNN’s “bombshell” report claimed that “Cohen alleges that he was present, along with several others, when Trump was informed of the Russians’ offer by Trump Jr. By Cohen’s account, Trump approved going ahead with the meeting with the Russians, according to sources.” One of the sources was reportedly Lanny Davis, Cohen’s lawyer… who would later come out and discredit the entire report.

And what did CNN do? Stand by their story, even after their “inside source” said it was B.S.

And in response, Trump Jr. is roasting CNN for their bogus reporting.

And that wasn’t the only recent bogus report about Trump Jr. that CNN reported.

As The Federalist Papers reminds us, CNN also published a report on Dec. 8, 2017, which “alleged that Donald Trump Jr. received an email on Sept. 4, 2016, containing a link and encryption key to hacked emails provided to Wikileaks.” However “The Wikileaks story fell apart after Trump Jr.’s attorney released an email showing that the real estate executive received the email linking to hacked documents a day after they had been released by Wikileaks. Rather than providing a preview to stolen political documents, the person who emailed Trump Jr. was pointing to information that had already been made public.”

Trump Jr. addressed that too since it’s now been nine months without any correction or retraction being issued on that story.

It goes without saying that if they haven’t issued a correction after nine months, we’re not ever seeing one.

In a sane world, your typical CNN broadcast would look a lot like this:

With reporting like that, it’s no wonder CNN is getting beaten out in the ratings by children’s cartoons.
