It is only a week before Christmas, and Democrats are readying themselves for a huge lump of coal.
This week, the House-led Democrat majority will vote to impeach President Trump on trumped-up charges only to send this farce to the Senate where according to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Democrats won’t have their way.
McConnell has seemingly slammed the door on any and all possibility of the removal of the duly-elected president from office and Dems the sore is throwing one of their major temper tantrums.

McConnell’s admitted he was working with White House lawyers and now, the Democrats want McConnell to step down to recuse himself from the Senate trial.

Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.) on Friday called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to recuse himself from the Senate impeachment trial, citing the GOP leader’s remarks the previous night about coordinating with the White House.
McConnell said during an interview on Fox News on Thursday night that “everything I do during this, I’m coordinating with the White House counsel. There will be no difference between the president’s position and our position as to how to handle this to the extent that we can.”
Demings accused the GOP leader of promising to “sabotage” the trial.

“No court in the country would allow a member of the jury to also serve as the accused’s defense attorney. The moment Senator McConnell takes the oath of impartiality required by the Constitution, he will be in violation of that oath,” she said in a statement.
Demings, who sits on the House Intelligence and Judiciary panels that have led the impeachment inquiry, pointed to Article 1, Section 3 of the Constitution. The section states: “The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation.” [The Hill]

Democrats have planned all along to get what they want, they need Republicans to step aside and recuse themselves so their plan has no obstruction. Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russian investigation back in 2017. The Dems wanted current AG William Barr to recuse himself from numerous investigations.
I don’t think McConnell will step aside like Sessions and will see this #shampeachment through to the end.
If you hate Trump so much, at least try to understand why he won. Democrats failed miserably in this regard and continue to do so. In fact, they have gotten worse than in 2016. Absolute denial.

Keep in mind that given the stability of the economy, this President should be coasting into a second term. Instead, half of Americans want him removed from office. That’s quite telling.
The single most important question that wasn’t asked, “Does becoming a candidate for the Democrats equate to being shielded from investigations into past activity that could be a serious crime?”
Putting that aside, the charges leveled by the Democrats will be torn to shreds, there is only guessing and personal opinions, by those that have an ax to grind against Trump, and as for Obstructing Congress, there isn’t a law to charge him under, if there was such a crime the Democrats could be charged with Obstructing the Executive Office, and they’ve done that unabashedly since Trump was elected. Trump will not be impeached, it won’t be long until this round is over.
