GOP Senate candidate Rick Scott and a host of others are accusing a pair of Florida counties of intentionally missing a recount deadline, a move that actually helped Democrats avoid losing more votes.
In what has been described as a “stunning development,” election officials in Broward County submitted their recount results two minutes after the deadline, meaning the state will not use those numbers.
All recount efforts in Broward this past week have thus been invalidated.
Scott had gained votes in the county by virtue of his opponent, incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson, losing more.
By submitting the results past deadline, numbers from Tuesday’s election will stand until manual recounts can be done. Because of this, Scott actually lost the 779 votes he would have gained in this recount.
Rick Scott gained 779 votes + Bill Nelson lost votes in the Broward County recount so what did Coward County do? They missed the deadline to submit their recount totals and Court ruled they’d go with old count before Nelson lost those votes. This is total corruption.

The missed deadline also benefits Democrat gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.
Hillsborough County election shenanigans
The corruption didn’t stop in Broward County. What Hillsborough County did with their results is outright election fraud. The recount didn’t go their way, so they just refused to turn over the numbers.
Fox News reports:
Hillsborough County intentionally refused to report its recount figures, which would have awarded Scott approximately 150 votes, because the recount turned up 846 fewer votes in total than the county’s initial tally.
This is deliberate election fraud that couldn’t be any more apparent.
Rick Scott gained 779 net votes in Broward and 146 in Hillsborough in completed recounts.
Both of these Dem counties then ditched their recounts and resubmitted their original counts instead. Blatant.

Meanwhile, Broward elections officials were trying to figure out why there was a 2,040 vote difference between the first results and the second results, chalking it up to a “co-mingling of ballots.”

Scott accuses Broward of election fraud
Scott’s campaign accused embattled Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes of intentionally submitting late results to invalidate them.
Snipes responded, not with a denial, but an excuse.
“An election like the one we just finished almost always has so many moving parts and so many components,” she said.
Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said he could see why Scott is “understandably frustrated.”
Fox News reporter Ed Henry said, “Congressman, as you know we’ve been lectured for days that we have to “count all the votes,” now we count the votes and it looks like it’s not helping the Democrats so the paperwork’s not turned in.”
“It really shows the hypocrisy,” Gaetz responded.
It’d be difficult to understand how some officials in Florida, with election fraud being this obvious, do not end up being charged with crimes.
We have an Obama-appointed judge extending the deadline for voters to fix discrepancies regarding the signatures on their vote-by-mail ballots.
We have Democrats caught in a scheme using altered forms to allow absentee ballots with ineligible signatures to be “perfected” after the deadline for submission had passed.
And now we have counties refusing to submit recount results once they realize their numbers aren’t going in favor of the Democrat candidates.
Acting AG Matthew Whitaker might want to make Florida his first priority.
It is my opinion that what we need to do is eliminate voting by mail. Eliminate early voting. Everybody shows a valid photo I.D. just like they would have to do to cash a check, or get on a plane, or any other of a thousand or so everyday actions. All voting is done on election day and if you can’t make it, sorry to bad. The ONLY exception would be military personnel stationed in other than their home area. Their votes would need to be notarized by their base legal office or other certified Notary Public. Any other votes would be invalid and I would like to have a copy made of my ballot in case there is a question. Put a serial number on it that is only on my copy and recorded nowhere else. Employers would be required to provide time to vote for their employees in staggered intervals if necessary so EVERYONE who is a legitimate voter gets to vote. Any election where more “voters” voted than were registered would be immediately invalid and the election officials placed on no pay leave status while the FBI finds out what happened and charges are made if any law has been violated.
What I’m surprised about is that this is a surprise to anyone. They’ve been doing this for many decades. The destruction of ballots that aren’t for “their guy” and the finding of ballots in trunks of democrat owned cars that just happen to be all for the democrat candidate. 150%+ voters registered to vote and all votes for the democrat candidate and zero votes for the republican candidate in a district. That is not just statistically impossible it’s physically impossible. That the feds put up with it just shows the FBI and the others up there in Washington are just as corrupt as the Florida vote counters.
Any Republican who lost to a Democrat in the midterms most likely had the election stolen from them by Democratic fraud.
What I want to know is HOW a machine recount can come up with 779 new votes in the first place? We they cheating on the original count?
Scott is still the governor he should clean out the corrupt election officials immediately and replace them.
2 min. is close enough and the votes should be counted. It is an issue of clocks possibly not in cinc.? The manual recount will pick up the votes so it should be a matter of just waiting another day or so. But it is ridiculous to go to all the effort to get the same result. Scott won.
If voters in Broward and Hillsborough counties do not call for the immediate firing of all their corrupt election officials. what does it say about them?
The state AG should allow an exception and allow the recount as “good”, bypassing the 2-minute over-deadline.
Democrats run the counties so election officials have little to fear from the “law”. They are the law.

Broward County used to be a beautiful place and a tourist Mecca. It has become a dump that most lifetime/long time residents that are still there – are looking to leave. My sister in law originally from Ft. Lauderdale was thinking about moving back – she went for a visit and changed her mind after.

The courts should make a statement here, they should tell the state that the final determination will be that which was reported on election night.

Cheat much?? Snipes needs to be in prison and needs to lose her pension and benefits!! The election in those two counties needs to be declared null and void.
