He’s out of the race.
And he’s not expected to run for any other office next year, either.
Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas announced on Friday that he is dropping out of the 2020 presidential race, multiple outlets reported.
This ends a campaign “in which he struggled to recapture the energy of his insurgent 2018 Senate candidacy on a national stage full of other big personalities and liberal champions,” as The New York Times noted.
O’Rourke — according to those “familiar with his thinking” — made the decision to quit the race in the middle of this week, on the eve of a gathering Friday of Democratic presidential candidates in Iowa, said The Times.
And he’s not expected to run for any other office in 2020, the same outlet noted.

I heard that Beto and his buddy Eric Holder are going to focus on running confiscated guns to Mexico in the near future now that he’s stepping out of the race.
Metaphorically worded for one who is running in the opposite direction from the rest of the pack perhaps?
With that in mind, he may have a better chance running against Trudeau in Canada. After all, he’s accustomed to border issues.
Apparently, he is just now hearing all of the bye bye’s which were spoken to him months ago and he is just now responding to them………….in appropriate fashion too I might add.
I was about to write close to that same thing.

Why did the headline refer to him as a front runner? Ha ha. He barely had 2% support.
He acted like he was on drugs. He was so unhinged.
The scary part about Beto is he went a long ways towards legitimizing the extreem liberal positions within the Democratic Party. He voiced what the Socialist, Globalist elites have been contemplating for years. That’s what is truly frightening.
