7.2 Million Illegal Aliens Entered the U.S. Under Biden. That’s A Larger Population Than 36 States

7.2 million illegals

It has been abundantly clear for sometime that Joe Biden does not give a damn about his own country’s southern border.

The US-Mexico border is pure chaos – and the president is out to lunch.

But it’s important to put this tragedy into context, something Fox News recently did in contrasting how many illegal immigrants have entered the country under Biden with how large the population of the U.S. is in many states.

Border Tragedy

Over 7 million illegal aliens have crossed the border since Biden came into office. That’s twice as many people as live in Los Angeles, and nearly as many as live in New York City.

But even that doesn’t tell the whole tale.

Fox News reports, “Nearly 7.3 million migrants have illegally crossed the southwest border under President Biden’s watch, a number greater than the population of 36 individual states, a Fox News analysis finds.”

“That figure comes from US Customs and Border Protection, which has already reported 961,537 border encounters in the current fiscal year, which runs from October through September,” Fox News notes.

The story continued:

If the current pace of illegal immigration does not slow down, fiscal year 2024 will break last year’s record of 2,475,669 southwest border encounters — a number that by itself exceeds the population of New Mexico, a border state.

The total number of southwest land border encounters since Biden assumed office in 2021 is 7,298,486, CBP data shows.

That is larger than the population of 36 US states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

The story went on, “Compared to the largest US states, the 7.3 million number is about 18.7% of California’s population of 39 million, 23.9% of the state of Texas and its 31 million residents, 32.3% of the population of Florida and 37.3% of New York. It’s more than half the size of Pennsylvania, Illinois and Ohio. “

All in all, “Taken together, nearly 10 million migrants have crossed into the US illegally during the Biden administration, a record Biden’s critics assert could only be achieved by intentionally refusing to enforce the law.”

Unbelievable

Is there a greater dereliction of duty for a president than this?

We often focus on Biden’s stumbling, forgetfulness, and other aspects of his incompetency that come with his advanced age.

But old or not, this allowance of such a staggering amount of illegal aliens to enter the country is a failure, as president, of epic proportions.

Joe Biden doesn’t deserve another term. He deserves a trial.

Because his lack of respect for his own country’s borders is criminal.
