YouTube Announces It Will Remove Any Videos Questioning Whether Biden Won The Election

Trump Biden

Just one month after the presidential election, YouTube has announced that it will be removing any videos that dare to question the validity of Joe Biden’s alleged presidential win.

YouTube Makes Disturbing Announcement

This announcement was made in a disturbing YouTube blog post that came out on Wednesday:

“Yesterday was the safe harbor deadline for the U.S. Presidential election and enough states have certified their election results to determine a President-elect. Given that, we will start removing any piece of content uploaded today (or anytime after) that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections.

For example, we will remove videos claiming that a Presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors. We will begin enforcing this policy today, and will ramp up in the weeks to come.”

Conservative YouTube Channels Hit Hard

This comes after conservative channels on YouTube have been crushed by the social media site’s policies in recent months. Over 8,000 channels and thousands of election-related videos have been removed from YouTube for “harmful and misleading” claims since September, according to The Independent. Of those videos, over 77 percent were removed before they had even hit one hundred views.

YouTube has said that though only one percent of the content that is viewed on the site in the United States is “problematic misinformation,” it is working to bring this number down even more. YouTube has said that it “will apply learnings from this election to our ongoing efforts to protect the integrity of elections around the world.”

The liberal bias that YouTube has is painfully obvious, as liberal videos and channels are not being targeted in this way at all. YouTube is not in a war against “fake news,” it is in a war against “conservative views,” and it will do anything to silence Donald Trump and those who support him.
