Describing herself as a LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) wife, Jackie Vaughn Perri produced a video in which she doesn’t say a word, but captures the raw emotions involved in having a spouse who serves his community as a police officer.
Perri’s video features her using a series of cards with messages on them about her husband who is a police officer working in the #BlackLivesMatter era in which criminals are worshiped as heroes, and law enforcement officials are being shot at because of their uniform.
What makes the video truly captivating is that behind the cards, Perri’s face helps tell the story with emotion that matches the message on each card. The video ends with a message that “All Lives Matter.”

Perri writes:
Hi. My name is Jackie. I am married to the love of my life. We have two beautiful children. We have been together for 13 years!
He is a son, brother, uncle, grandson, friend, Daddy, and my husband.
He is the funniest, loving, smart, loyal, and thoughtful person I know. He is my best friend! He makes me a better person.
He is my whole world. He is a hard worker, and loyal to his job. We could not be prouder of him; but some people hate him … My husband is a Law Enforcement Officer.
I never know if when he kisses our kids goodbye, it will be their last kiss. I always have my phone on and wait for him to walk in the door.
I am a L.E.O. wife. It breaks my heart every day, but I wouldn’t trade him for anything.
