The White House issued a statement slamming Democrat leaders for the violence and unrest that continued in Philadelphia Tuesday night.
Riots and looting began earlier this week following the death of 27-year-old William Wallace Jr. who was shot by city officers while allegedly armed with a knife.
Wallace, according to police, refused to comply with orders to put the weapon down and instead ran towards them.
Violence raged throughout the night Monday and continued into the following day as stores were destroyed and reporters covering the scene were reportedly beaten by protesters.

Fox News reports that Blaze TV reporter Elijah Schaffer was captured on video “getting pummeled inside a store by a group of protesters.”
Schaffer described the assailants as being associated with Black Lives Matter.
Images of Schaffer with a severely bloodied and swollen lip also surfaced online.
“I’m going to go to the hospital, I think, to get stitches because it is just absolutely painful,” Schaffer said. “But this is what’s happening in the current state over the killing of Walter Wallace.”
Political commentator James Klug also reported that he was “chased by looters” while trying to film the violence in Philadelphia.
On Monday, a 56-year-old female sergeant was struck by a pickup truck during the chaos in Philadelphia, suffering “a broken leg and other injuries.”

According to reports, the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management advised residents from certain neighborhoods to remain indoors due to “widespread demonstrations that have turned violent with looting.”
Think about that for a moment. Residents are being told to shelter in place while criminals are running the streets of Philadelphia.
The White House issued a statement slamming Democrat leaders for the violence.
“The riots in Philadelphia,” according to the Trump administration, “are the most recent consequence of the Liberal Democrats’ war against the police.”
The White House said it “stands proudly with” law enforcement and if requested will “deploy any and all Federal resources” to quell the violence.
“In America, we resolve conflicts through the courts and the justice system,” the statement reads. “We can never allow mob rule.”
