Just a word of advice to future criminals – If you’re going to rob a gas station, make sure the clerk behind the counter isn’t an Iraq War veteran with several tours of duty on his resume.
Otherwise, you’re probably going to end up like a would-be robber in Florida, whose face was introduced to a military veteran’s fist several times during a gas station holdup.

This is what happens when you rob the wrong gas station. Surveillance footage captured a fight between a gunman and the baddest clerk ever.
A gunman walked into a store Jan. 26, according to Brevard County police in Florida. As one does, he allegedly demanded money, and the clerk seemed to concede, pulling out the cash register.
Plot twist: The clerk’s reportedly a military vet who has done several tours in Iraq. A fight ensued. In the video, the clerk grappled with the alleged robber, landing flush punches. The gunman was disarmed, but escaped. Barely.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page wrote, “Although I never encourage our citizens to actively engage criminals over money or personal possessions, I bet this criminal thinks twice before taking on a U.S. Veteran again!”
