Earlier this month, CNN’s Van Jones accused 2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy of being a “demagogue.”
So Ramaswamy told Jones to “shut the f*** up.”
Jones started this back and forth on December 7, saying of Ramaswamy’s performance at a GOP debate, “Literally, I was shaking listening to him.”
Jones added, “He is going to outlive Trump by about 50 years, and you are watching the rise of a demagogue that is very despicable.”

Jones would add, repeating his “shaking” reaction, “You’re watching the rise of an American demagogue that is a very, very despicable person. And I literally, I was— I was shaking listening to him talk because a lot of people don’t know. That is one step away from Nazi propaganda coming out of his mouth.”
Ramaswamy later returned verbal fire.
He made his remarks about Jones at an event for the conservative organization Turning Point Action.
“You’ve got this character Van Jones on CNN afterward saying ‘This is the rise of an American demagogue who is going to live 50 years longer than Trump. This is dangerous,'” Ramawsamy said.
He then added, with some feeling for emphasis, “Just shut the f*ck up. At a certain point, just shut the f*ck up.”

Ramaswamy Has Focused On Fellow Indian-American Nikki Haley
Ramaswamy is far behind Donald Trump in the polls but has gone from an unknown to attracting an audience throughout the 2024 race by pitching his own younger version of ‘America First.’
Being of Indian descent and generally holding antiwar positions, Ramaswamy has focused a lot of his energy on fellow Indian candidate but avid warhawk, Nikki Haley.
Haley appears to be the Republican establishment’s pick for the nomination if Trump is somehow blocked from running.
A Fox News poll on December 17 showed that Trump’s lead was widening in the general election against Democratic President Joe Biden.
