At a rally in Springfield, Illinois, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took a major jab at Hillary Clinton, saying one of the reasons she is running “is because she wants to stay out of jail.”
He suggested that the former Secretary of State who shared classified information on an unsecured private e-mail server was trying to run out the clock on the statute of limitations for her crimes.
“Remember, there’s a six year statute of limitations on that crime,” he explained.
Trump added that there are some people in jail right now “for doing five percent of what she (Hillary) did.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano has suggested the same thing as Trump — that others, specifically General David Petraeus, was charged for less of an offense than Hillary committed.
Napolitano claimed that if Clinton gave out classified information in those e-mails — which she did — she could be charged in the same manner that Petraeus was for the improper handling of classified materials.
