Former President Donald Trump took to the airwaves to slam the Biden administration on every issue imaginable: COVID-19, inflation, Afghanistan, the crisis at the southern border–you name it.

Trump made his remarks during an appearance on Fox Business’s “Varney & Co.” on Friday.

Trump On Biden: ‘He’s been totally unsuccessful. It’s a disaster what’s happened’

Trump said that he had originally wished Biden well in handling the COVID-19 pandemic, but couldn’t ignore the higher number of deaths during his time in the White House “despite all of the vaccines and the therapeutics” available now.

Trump said to host David Asman, “Look, I wanted [Biden] to be successful on the on the whole thing on COVID – or as I call it, the China virus.”

“I wanted him to be successful,” Trump said. “He’s been totally unsuccessful. It’s a disaster what’s happened.”

The former president then touted the success of his own Operation Warp Speed, which accelerated vaccine development. Trump also said Americans should get vaccinated.

However, Trump is dead set against mandates.

“I want people to go out and want to get [vaccinated], but I don’t want to force it into them,” Trump explained.

Trump said Biden has lost credibility with the public, which has only helped widespread vaccine hesitancy.

‘Now they look at us like we’re a bunch of wimps which they can’t even believe’

On rising inflation, Trump pointed his finger at the Biden administration’s policies.

“What’s happening with energy, nobody’s ever seen it,” Trump said. “In California –  [gas] is $7.77 in certain areas of California.”

“People remember in a debate, also, I said, you’re going to have $5, $6, $7 gasoline, and even more than that, I just didn’t know I was going to be right so soon,” Trump explained.

“The whole world looks at us differently today than they did a year ago,” Trump also observed.

“A year ago, they had great respect for this country,” Trump said. “Now they look at us like we’re a bunch of wimps which they can’t even believe.”
