In yet another example that our men and women in uniform understand world threats better than the average person, a new poll shows that military members and veterans overwhelmingly support Donald Trump for President.
The latest poll from NBC News gives Trump a 19 point advantage over Clinton, something commonly referred to as a landslide.
The positive military and veteran news comes on the heels of an announcement in which 88 retired generals and admirals signed a letter backing Trump as the man who will reverse the decimation of our military at the hands of Obama/Clinton.

Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton by 19 points — 55 percent to 36 percent — among voters who are currently serving or have previously served in the U.S. military, according to the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll.
The poll was conducted online from August 29 through September 4 among 32,226 registered voters, including 3,358 who have previously served or are currently serving in the U.S. military.
Despite several controversial statements regarding war veteran Sen. John McCain and Trump’s criticism of the Khan family, the GOP nominee has worked hard to secure the support of veterans and U.S. military members. On Tuesday morning, a group of 88 retired generals and admirals signed a letter backing Trump to reverse the “hollowing out” of the U.S. military.
The 19-point margin is an increase from a July poll which showed active military members favoring Trump by 16 points, but trailing Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.
Perhaps our military members and veterans have grown weary of 8-years worth of a presidency in which they’ve been treated like trash.
