One thing the GOP frontrunner will not run from is his unfiltered opinion. Especially when it comes to talking about the choices of our past presidents that Trump believes led the United States down the wrong path.
Trump joined CNN’s State of the Union and didn’t hold back his emotions when he said the Middle East “blew up” around President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, his biggest Democrat rival in the race for the White House.
“100 percent,” Trump said when asked if the world would be better off with Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi still at the helm in Iraq and Libya.
“People are getting their heads chopped off. They’re being drowned. Right now it’s far worse than ever under Saddam Hussein or Gaddafi,” Trump said.
I agree, the Middle East was better off under their dictatorship.
Honestly, I have believed this for years. These two were dictators, we all knew that. But while they ruled their countries with an iron fist, they also kept terrorists under control. Whether you want to believe it or not, terrorists were not allowed to run free and take over the land. The U.S. messed up by having a government so hell bent on controlling that area… and yes, I did say that!
They ruined the Middle East and then started a war that has nearly destroyed the United States. Now another Bush thinks he can step in. Hardly. I don’t agree with everything Trump says, but he is right about this. Those guys kept the Middle East controlled. These dictators would have wiped out the terrorists.
