After House Intellignce Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) stepped-aside from the fake Russia investigation, there’s now amazing news. He will be replaced by conservative hero Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)!
Nunes stepped aside and said the charges against him are “entirely false and politically motivated,” but said it was in the “best interests” of the committee to have someone else take over.
Gowdy is clearly the man for the job:
Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Texas, will take the temporary lead on the investigation into Russia’s alleged interference in the U.S. election. Gowdy, who represents Greenville and Spartanburg, will join Rep. Tom Rooney, R-Fla., in helping Conaway with the investigation.
“I believe it is in the best interests of the House Intelligence Committee and the Congress for me to have Representative Mike Conaway, with assistance from Representatives Trey Gowdy and Tom Rooney, temporarily take charge of the Committee’s Russia investigation while the House Ethics Committee looks into this matter,” Nunes said in a statement Thursday morning. “I will continue to fulfill all my other responsibilities as Committee Chairman, and I am requesting to speak to the Ethics Committee at the earliest possible opportunity in order to expedite the dismissal of these false claims.”
Gowdy is also a member of the House Ethics Committee.

Gowdy knows how to look into classified intelligence and get to the truth. Now that we have learned that Susan Rice really did call for the “unmasking” of Trump campaign officials, people will hopefully face felony charges. As a prosecutor, Gowdy had a perfect conviction record which is why this promotion is a perfect choice!

Trey Gordy should have been assigned directly to Jeff Sessions? He has a strong character and will find out the full truth on Russia, Hillary Clinton mob rule, 35.000 Emails and fraud emanating from the foundation. More needs to be done about the the Hillary & Bill investigation of Seth Rich who mysteriously murdered by persons unknown an added to the rising body count within the DNC.
