‘The View’ Hosts Say Trump Praising ‘Gone With the Wind’ Is Racist

Guests and hosts alike on ‘The View’ were torn up over President Trump’s recent reference to the classic movie ‘Gone With the Wind.’

At a rally in Colorado earlier this week, President Trump cracked jokes about the Academy Awards and their obsession with obscure movies rather than trying to create new classics.

“What the hell was that all about?” Trump asked about the fact that the film ‘Parasite’ won an award. “Can we get like ‘Gone with the Wind’ back, please?”

Rather than being accepting of multiple layers surrounding the film – a movie made in 1939 portraying events from the Civil War era that is considered an all-time classic especially amongst President Trump’s generation – guest Michael Eric Dyson concluded any reference to it had to be a racist dog-whistle.

Shortly thereafter, the mindless hosts joined in agreement with Dyson.

Dyson’s Take – ‘Trump’s Racist’

Dyson, who much like the company with the same name is apparently paid to suck at what he does, surmised that any reference to a film that doesn’t translate well to today’s norms has to be racist.

“Yeah, let’s get ‘Birth of the Nation’ back because we don’t have enough of that kind of kowtowing and cooning,” he said before seemingly having his mic cut or muted in some fashion.

Using that idiotic take and doubling down on it were co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro.

Hostin added 2 and 2 and somehow came up with 7 when she drew a link between the President’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and the movie, alleging that Trump thought America was great in 1939 when “Gone with the Wind” was released.

“Let’s bring back the Civil War, let’s bring back slavery,” Navarro chirped, speaking as if she knew what the President was thinking.

Panel of Idiots

Can you even imagine being as dumb as this group? Dyson is a professional race-baiter in the mold of a more sophisticated Al Sharpton.

“If Republicans weren’t so racist,” Dyson once claimed, “they could encourage black people who are morally conservative to be on their side.”

The ladies of ‘The View’ meanwhile, are blinded by hatred of President Trump and willing to parrot even the most absurd opinions.

It should be noted that ‘Gone With the Wind’ actress Hattie McDaniel became the first African-American to win an Academy Award. She took home the Best Supporting Actress award for her role as Mammy in the film.

McDaniel appeared in over 300 movies and has two stars on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Now, the film that earned her race-barrier-breaking notoriety is being portrayed as a call to racists.
