Federal Judge Strikes Down Voter ID for Second Time

There is nothing wrong with voter ID. Let me explain to you why I believe that.

A federal judge has decided to not only rule once, but twice against Texas’ voter ID laws. Liberals always talk about voter ID laws targeting minorities, but that can’t be anywhere close to the truth. If you want to vote, then you show your ID – and that should be the end of the story.

But when liberals are seated on the bench and they decide they know what’s best, they make up laws based on emotion and not common sense.

If you can use an ID to get liquor, cash a check, get groceries, and to order things off of the Internet, then you should have an ID to vote. Liberals look down on minorities as possessions instead of people and that’s where the problem is.

A federal judge has ruled — for the second time — that Texas lawmakers intentionally discriminated against Latino and black voters in passing a strict voter identification law in 2011.

U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos ruled Monday that Texas “has not met its burden” in proving that lawmakers passed the nation’s strictest photo ID law, know as Senate Bill 14, without knowingly targeting minority voters.

The 10-page ruling, if it withstands almost certain appeals, could ultimately put Texas back on the list of states needing federal approval before changing election laws. A 2013 Supreme Court ruling sprung Texas and other states with a history of discrimination from that list.

U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals last July ruled that the Texas law disproportionally targeted minority voters who were less likely to have one of the seven forms of state-approved photo ID — a violation of the U.S. Voting Rights Act. And Texas conducted the 2016 General Elections under a court-ordered relaxation of the rules.

This is how liberals view minorities and voter ID:

This judge is not using the law, she’s using her heart, and that’s not what she was elected to do. Federal judges like this are not only dangerous to the population, they should be disrobed and put in the soup line to experience the need for having an ID.
